The roads from Jhansi to Gwalior are pretty good to ride on only when there is no traffic.. as in early morning rides on that highways would be the best... otherwise during peak hours there will be heavy traffic..

The average spped with a pillion was 75-80 kmph. Depending on the road condition and the traffic. :-)

I hated those 50 kms ride towards Nagpur from Adilabad.. horrible roads.. I was riding at night on that stretch and I have no idea when they will complete laying the roads there.. and I loved the Pench National Park Roads

Day 2 : Nagpur to Lalitpur

We got up at 5:30 in the morning and it started raining. Got ready with the target to reach Jhansi. waited for the rain to stop and till then posed for some pictures. We started at around 7:30 and by the time we fuelled the bike and left Nagpur it was 8:30. we were already late by 2 hours. Soon we entered Madhya Pradesh and the hilly roads. we passed through Kanha Wild life sanctuary ( a small part of it) and reached Chhindwada by 11:30. We started the climb again and man the roads were again in bad shape. They were under construction better to say. But we were riding on boulders and that too with a pillion. Soon after around 30 kms the roads were awsome again and the Chhindwada Narsinghpur strech was awsome (Except for the last 10 kms which broke our back and butts badly). Had our lunch at Narsinghpur and moved ahead ti reach Jhansi by day end. But it was getting dark on that lonely NH-7 and because of the poor visibility from the headlamp of the bike we decided to call it a day at Lalitpur, a small town 96 km before Jhansi.

Time to change the seats. This is the the most painful part as you never want to be the pillion with that 50 kg heavy bag on your back.

And then started the butt breaking stretch of the NH-7
