This is my first 200+kms ride on a bike. Previously did small rides within 70-80kms.Very new to Xbhp and to bike trips. Thanks to the wonderful and helpful people here on Xbhp for providing the valuable information on safe riding which is very helpful for new guys like me who want to ride safely and enjoy the trip.
Route Taken : Mehdipatnam-Pahadi-Kalwakurthy-Dindi-Munnanur-Srisailam
Sunday morning started by 7:00am from Mehdipatnam towards Pahadi shareef it was very cold and lot of people on road side were sitting around fire holding hot tea to keep themselves warm from the chilling cold.
Riding under The Expressway :
Soon after crossing ORR there are plenty of road works going at different locations. It was very difficult to ride even at the speed of 25km/hr.
Found this beautiful location at one of the diversion made because of road works
Just a selfie
After taking some pics i started towards Dindi reservoir.not much water but the temperatures were pleasant
Spent some time there and took some more pics
Here comes The Lord of the Streets

Saw this bird in a farm at a Dhaba just after crossing Dindi Reservoir
Without taking any stops i reached the foot hill of Nalamalla forest. Now it was time to take the ghats.
The views were beautiful from above
Entering the Nalamalla Forest
And the only animals spotted in the entire trip and they were in 100's
Deep into the Nalamalla Forest
No monkeys and no vehicles so a good opportunity for a quick snap

just trying a Go-Pro thing as a pillion rider

And finally found the Mighty Tiger of Nalamalla Forest and he doesnt want anybody to touch him
OKJust for information this is the entry gate to a small safari and Farahabad viewpoint. No private vehicles are allowed after this gate,we need to hire a jeep for Rs 800/- you can hire a whole jeep for one or two persons and the maximum of 6 persons. We didn't took that safari and continued towards srisailam.
After crossing this Tiger project we headed towards mallela theertham waterfalls. You have to take a left turn from Vatuvarlapalli village and one need to ride for next 8kms through a couple of small villages and the worst part of this whole 8kms is you have to ride on kaccha road with plenty of road bumps which will test the suspension of your bike.Needs to be very careful on this road as it is very narrow and not smooth at all.
Villages on the way to waterfalls
I was just 3kms away from waterfalls and suddenly it started drizzling but it was just for 5 minutes
After so much dust and road bumps safely made it to the waterfalls.Parking ticket Rs10/ and entry ticket Rs10/-
Now the task was to climd down around 350 not so good looking steps. The surroundings were mesmerizing and the trees were huge inside the forest but the water was very less but still it was good to hear the sound of water falling from such a height. It was green all over the place.
This face looks sad maybe because of how visitors are littering the whole place.
Some more pics of waterfall
Me watching this beautiful waterfall unless some mad people arrived and started taking bath under the waterfall when it was clearly mentioned that it is not allowed to take bath or to go near the waterfall. They didn't stopped here instead of all this nonsense they started smoking by just moving little bit away from the waterfall.
Now it was time to go back and now the biggest and difficult task was to climb up those 350 steps and literally i was not at all ready to climb. It took me 5 stops to reach the parking.Exhausted in a 15 degree cool temperature.
To be continued......
