The more I go through your log, the more it seems unfathomable to me. Travelling to lesser traveled places is what biking is all about I guess.
To own a Duke 390 and still having the feet firmly in ground with a humble CBZ, I can\'t possibly imagine the free-spirited soul you are.
Wish you millions of kilometers. Respect!

I must say you have guts!!Sandakphu route is really challenging for Bikes in some stretches.Appreciate your ride!! (y)

P.S.: The place names you mentioned are like Tonglu, Tumling, Gairibas. There\'s no place like Toling or Gouri bas in Sandakphu route.

Thanks & You are right Bhaski9836- I am weak with names of places specially when I hear the same place in various accents .
So Toling = Tumling and Gouri basa = Gairibass it is . Even in some places Sandakphu was spelled Sandakfu

Why did you walk the last 3 kms. Why did you not take your bike there.

nice ride .
Bravo for riding Sandakphu in this bike.
But last 3 kms is the most challenging.

We did complete it in OCT 2015 but in Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS.

Is it doable on a bike?
If not then how the hell 4x4 wheelers and jeep manage?

Read this full detailed travelogue about my bike ride till Sandakphu at https://www.xbhp.com/talkies/tourer/...hu-sikkim.html

Now two wheeler are banned.
But before many have rode till Sandakphu on bike and even scooter to gearless scooter also.

4x4 land rovers (most of them made in England) are kings of those tough routes.

I had a fall in that last 3 km difficult road.

As this is basically a trek route
