  • A short Fun ride to gomateshwara

It was monday 23/02/09...woke up late as it was public Holiday on the eve of Shivarathri...was thinking how to spend my day at home... Called my Friend Ashish to check up if he had any plans...he said he was busy and he would be free at around 2.30 pm...i asked him if he would join me for a ride..he immediately agreed upon it..since he had got his dream bike (THUNDERBIRD ) recently he was excited to take her for ride.. We both took karkala as our destination as it was approx 50 kms away and we would have some good time too hitting the winding roads..

We took off around 3 Pm..
Some Pics of me on the way...

My friend Ashish on his new Thunderbird

    Some pics on the way

Some fun pics with my other friend who joined us on his M800

At the entrance of Gomateshwara Temple ( Karkala )

    Statue of Gomateshwara

    Sculpures inside the Temple

    Some Information about the Temple

the View of Jain temple from Gomateshwara Temple

    Some Pics around the temple

Next stop was the jain temple which was hardly around half a km away from the Gomateshwara Temple..
We could manage only two photos of this temple as photography was not allowed..but still could manage one Pic after the permission.

    Jain temple

    Inside the temple

The Jain temple was very beautiful from inside....but we were not allowed to take the picture.

Having some snacks before heading back

Thumps up for the Successful ride

Give me the link to the picasa album, and I'll see what I can do.

You can simply open your Picasa web album and copy paste the image links here. Perhaps that might be useful. Or better still upload your images on xBhp Autopictorials .

          Thread Closed on Abhishek's request.
