Look at fate now. I believe if you truly want something you will get it. I didn't knew back then when I commented on your travelogue that I would be moving to Nainital one day. Now here I am in Nainital and exploring the places around.

Permanently moved here. I work in Sherwood College now. Have been in and around Nainital on my bike. Next step is to venture even further. Tomorrow maybe Almora and Ranikhet. Or might go till kasauni.

Ample opportunities to roam the hills for you. Do make a trip to Munshiyari if you get a 3-4day break.

I have the diwali break right now for 7 days but can't leave my wife alone and go (she is carrying). Else would have already been there by now. Maybe for some other day. But will cover all the places I can while I am here.

Hello, I just chanced upon this travelogue and remembered that last year when I was visiting Jammu, inspired by your travelogue I took my friend's RE classic 500 from Jammu to Patnitop. This was on 27th November 2015. Google said it was a 2 hour journey but it took me a full day to find my way to Patnitop through the mountains. When I saw this travelogue I was envious of you for having the opportunity to ride through this kind of beauty. Now I want to say that I am happy that you do. I possibly couldn't associate something that beautiful with a negative emotion like envy. I made a huge mistake of thinking I can brave the 0 degrees that was predicted at Patnitop and packed light. I have never suffered as much as I did that night even though I was lodged in the best hotel I could afford with a heater in it.

I did get some GoPro footage and pictures on the trip. I will post them as soon as I get home to my storage.
