Upto 100km/hr, I would say RS felt boring than NS.
after 120kmph,it was pretty good. About 30% more stable than NS.didn't went above that and rode at those speeds FOR like 30sec.don't tell this to the owner. .!!!(happens to be friend of my big brother)"...
Blatant breaking of rules...I rest my case

Yes ,and as divya sharan in sarcasm tagged me moron ( which I with regards accept generously) ,shouldn't it (xbhp) doing the right thing ..!
I mean justifying your bad actions by comparing yours with other more bad actions doesn't make you any saint. I have no problem with saddlescore posts per se,because the guy had actually done the deed and then he posted, I have problem with partial safety cry standards of xbhp, either you support it all or don't support it at all. There cannot be a middle path in this.

My 2 cents. Not to offend anybody. You can be dangerous even at 20 kmph. But you can ride safe even at 120 kmph. Depends upon the safety gear you are using. And of course the way you ride. Had that not been the case, motogp would have been banned years ago. And going by the thread itself, I personally don't think that the rider put anybody's life in danger.

Just for argument's sake, are you even serious of what you just wrote about MotoGP? It's professional racing done on a closed circuit by professionals who are qualified to do so.... how is it in any way similar to whatever kind of riding people do on public roads/highways etc.. What are you saying?

PS: I neither support nor discourage saddle sore 'cause it doesn't matter to me.

You are 100% right brother. Motogp is done in a controlled environment. And a Motogp and a Ss are two different things. My point is if you manage to ride safe, there is no harm. It's an achievement for the ts and we should encourage him. He had taken care of safety guidelines and rode sanely. Had he rode in an unsafe manner, I wouldn't have made a single comment. Just today evening I saw an accident which could have been avoided if the rider had minimal road sense @ 15 odd kmph on a Rx100. I did not want to offend or confront anyone. I hope you have got my view.

When you break even one rule and that too related to speed limit ,on a bike that has minimal safety features+handles like a tank+no abs+Indian roads +Indians + ...n ,YOU CANNOT CLAIM TO BE EVER RIDING SAFE . it's a matter of luck that you came out scratchless.

Just because he came out safe doesn't Mean he didn't put anyone's life in danger, it's like launching diwali rockets from your hands ,You may not get hurt and not let the rocket hurt others sometimes, but that doesn't means it's justifiable.
Not going personal, but I had high regards of you in past, when I hadn't seen this post of yours.
Seriously, MOTOGP example. .? Sir pardon me but do you even know difference between track riding and city/steert/highway riding ..?

First of all, I didn't specifically refer to you as moron in my previous post. It's for all high revving junkies in city limits. Speed limit in city is 40 kmph.

Also, read the initial few threads on SS and also a thread by the member aargee. It has been very clearly mentioned that these rides carry a certain amount of risk and every tom dick and harry shouldn't attempt the same. Actually, people with relatively sane riding attitude are the ones who usually complete the ride successfully. We have lost members in the past while attempting these rides, so one must be ABSOLUTELY sure before taking part in such events.

And on the topic of adhering to speed limits, xBhp can only advice. It cannot force anyone. Do you ride under 40 clicks in city? Why/why not?
Do you have to travel a lot? Why not reduce your carbon foot print?

Sent from my phone. Kindly avoid it while riding.

Safety was my prime concern through out the ride and that's why i only launched diwali rockets on almost empty 3 lane roads. <-- I know this won't completely justify as a safe riding as per "Rule Book".

Re: SaddleSore 1000 | A RoadTrip: Out of the ordinary

I think I have been misinterpreted here. I never told that Motogp and SS is same. My point was if Motogp riders can ride safely with all the protective gears on at that high speed, a person attempting a SS can do the same at a much lower speed. What is required in a SS is stamina and mental toughness not the speed of the bike.
And thanks to some members, I have finally got to know the difference between city and street and highway riding as I had never ventured out of my home since I was born.
I rest my case here. Peace!

Saaaarrr, motogp is done on a CLOSED TRACK CIRCUIT ,while on the other hand ,saar this saddlescore is done on a Indian highway ,where cows ,people ,even JAADU likes to make special appearance outta nowhere, Sar We are not talking about endurance ,speed ,protective gears on motogp comparable to saddlescore, it's THE CLOSED CIRCUIT AND AWESOME TARMAC which you cannot be sure of.
And sorry for you ,if you haven't travel out ,you've seen only page 1 of book called life.
