Nice writeup and good snaps too. The downhill ride must have been thrilling and a real good time through the ride.
Fortunately, you've had a clear sky and good weather by your ride.
See that you've put up a snap of my last year's Ooty - Kalhatti climb - my bike (white) resting against the hairpin curve railing.
The climb last month on the same route however was through heavy downpour of rain. Also saw two bikers on bullets riding up too.
