    @razor; I would suggest you to include yana in your itinerary.
    on day 2 stay for the night at margoa
    Day3 start early and you can reach Yana by 11 and come back to the NH for lunch. Then stay at Murudeshwar for the night. Murudeshwar is better place than gokarna, also you could ve covered enough distance for mangalore.

    edit: do carry adequate water and snack when you attempt yana and if its raning/cloudy beware of the leaches

        Well, I cant do it. Was thinking of joining you guys, but am planning something bigger apart from our LEH-RIDE next season...

          @ Razor, All said and done, GO FOR IT is what i say dont bother about heat and sweat and the rain etc..make sure that u go and take Shiva and calvin too....enjoy the ride...

          Ride seems too exaustive, need to spend more time in Kerala and Karnataka actually u can skip Pondicherry and retrun to Mumbai on the bikes itself. The Gq will give u ample amount of tarmac to break the odo limits....think...

          otherwise its a great plan...

            Man things dont look in a good shape, I had to cancel both South & Leh rides, as my USA trip will be there, so guys plz accompny me to...
            Shiva & Kalyan, I hope you can manage another ride in Sep/Oct... though its too big, I hope you can do a lil jhol-jhaal n come!

              Let us know when ur in Manipal/Mangalore we'll meet up if possible! Please make sure u stop by Gokarna, Murudeshwar, Marvanthe, Manipal and Mangalore on the ride!
