Brilliant stuff Ken. Each time you put up a thread I pounce on it and make sure I read every bit of detail. I get really involved reading your logs. Awesome! How much has your R1 done in terms of mileage? I see so many trip logs from you on xbhp (and a lot of unofficial ones too I'm sure) and I wonder each time how many kms you'v clocked. Thanks for the intoxicating reading experience once again.

The Big Royal Suites are in 5 digits. I cannot afford those. I am happy in a smaller one which is pretty good and unique in its own way and by its own right

And from Bombay, it is not too far, barely 850 kms, of which you have about 150 kms on the Aravallis twisties... lovely! Just do it.

I am glad you enjoyed reading through this. I am closing in on 15K kms on this R1. Have not done a long ride since this one. I am itching for one now. But finances are a bit tight at the moment.

kuldeepcool, thanks for the appreciation. It is not really far either from Mt Abu or from Ahmedabad. You really should try and do it. I gather from Ahmedabad it would be around 350 kms. You are lucky to be that close to some of the best Royal Retreats in Rajasthan

What do you mean this R1? How many do you own/How many have you owned?

Recession pulling a string there? The company I work for in Bangalore are laying of people on Monday and I'm not even sure if I'm one of them. When is this downward swirl every going to slow down?

If you are riding from Udaipur towards Delhi on NH8 and not on NH75 (not towards Chittor), then you ride for 175 odd Kms, before you come to the crossing where it is clearly mentionned about Deogarh to the right 5kms and North Pole some 14000kms!!! You cannot miss that crossing. It is 125kms from Ajmer.

Wonderful ride Ken. I hope to do similar rides in the near future.

We'll the next day was a bad day for many. 20% of the company wiped out. Luckily I wasn't one of them.

I was just wondering Ken, what kind of average speed do you keep up? I mean, I was just calculating, by keeping a 70kmph average one can actually cover 850kms in 12 hours! That means I could ride from Bangalore to Delhi in about 20hours if I kept up an average of 80+ (of course only on a SuperBike). Is it actually possible to average at 80+ in real riding conditions inspite of touring on an SuperBike?
