Hello people. Hope you guys are doing great.
It feels awesome to be on saddle after couple of months. I mean we ride daily for commuting purpose but the feeling of travel/touring is ethereal. Being a newbie i havent been to much places but I have a never ending list of places to travel. This Saturday it was time to cover one of those. Although this place is not that far from Bangalore but its a complete one day bliss. Getting early in the moring , riding through state highways and reaching the destination called Shivsamudra Falls along with Harshavardhan was real fun. I will try to wrap it up in a paragraph because there not much to write but I have few pics to share.
We started the ride early in the morning. We went through the city towards kannakpura road-Malavalli-Shivsamudram falls. There are actually two falls at Shivsamudram known as Gaganachukki and Bharachukki. We decided to visited Gaganachukki first followed by Bharachukki. We were lucky to see good amount of water coming down from the fall. At Bharachukki we went on a small boat ride towards the falls which was best part of this small ride. I would suggest everyone to try that. If you are planning to visit Shivsamudram falls try to reach the falls early because after 9:00a.m crowd starts coming and you would not be able to enjoy more. Also at Bharachukki people can go inside water but not towards the falls. Coming to the ride part. We visited both the falls and by 11:00 we started to ride back towards Bangalore. In short it was a good small ride covering around 280km(both side) with some breathtaking views and fun.
