Re: Spiti circuit (Solo)
Yes, she is adorable for me and you cant miss her posing on any pictureOriginally posted by oldman View PostBrilliant pics, interestingly all the pics include the bike. It's like pics taken with your loved one, great, loved it. How was the weather and how did the bike perform
The bike performed just fine let me tell you when I came back the clutch were worn out completely, the leg guard and the right tank scoop was kind of broken and bent, one of the pad lost its leather material from front disc pad so the metal to metal screeching were happening during use of front brake, rear right side suspension given up and left all the oil in hills only but these are all memories and learning
. I must say that there were no roads far far and I rode almost 200kms in that kind of situation any machine ridden in that kind of environment will at least give up something and these things are normal. I fell twice on the rocks and freezing water due slippery steep roads with less/thin air in environment.
The weather was just perfect, your jacket and riding pant lining would almost every time, the day temp was around 4-5 most of the time and nights were -2 to -7. The only thing bother is freezed feet while doing water crossing and you have to put your foot down to balance yourself. Only Kunzum Pass was so freezing in the the day at around I guess 0 degree at 1PM. I cant imagine the night

Enjoyed pictures a lot. Brought my spiti memories back. I always wondered how Spiti looks like in Spetember and Thanks for showing it to me.. Apart from more snow at Kunzum, I didn't notice much change from July.

Apart from more snow at Kunzum, I didn't notice much change from July. Also, surprised to know about the day temperatures. Water crossings are hell, especially after Batal and the only time I regretted in the whole trip of mine on bicycle.Originally posted by itsmevini123 View PostYes, she is adorable for me and you cant miss her posing on any picture

Great that you decided to explore solo and Amazed by your light weight packing.. Wish you many more happy and safe rides
Btw, How is drive to Chitkul from Sangla ? I thought the whole route will be full of snow, by this time of year from the words of people there in July, but seems normal to me from your pics.Sayi mera naam, Cycle chalana mera kaam.

Thanks for liking the pictures buddyOriginally posted by sayi89 View PostBtw, How is drive to Chitkul from Sangla ? I thought the whole route will be full of snow, by this time of year from the words of people there in July, but seems normal to me from your pics.
At that time of year usually one can find snow on top of the hills only, until this area witness a recent heavy snowfall. The ride from Sangla to Chitkul was so joy full there was hardly any road but it is full of scenic many water crossing and few bridges, greenery all around at this time of year.
