  • Exploring Andamans

For most people living in India, Andaman & Nicobar islands doesn't ring a bell until i say KALAPANI.
Andaman & Nicobar islands consist of 572 islands, islets & rocky outcrops which forms an arc across the Bay of Bengal with Myanmar in the north and Indonesian island of Sumatra in the south. They lie 700 miles east of the Tamil Nadu coast. The islands are famous for its Beaches, Underwater life, Mud Volcanoes, British History, WWII, The Native Tribes and Barren Island (India's only active volcano).

    A Trip to Corbyn's Cove

Corbyn's cove is a coconut-palm fringed beach located in Port Blair. Its a perfect place see the sunrise & if you are lucky enough you will also see the moonrise in the evening. a major tourist attraction hosts a lot of water related activity and the chances of a encounter with a salty is tad bit low compared to any other place however, the road that leads to the beach is a delight to ride on.

Beautiful place, the Andaman Islands. Do you get to take your bike to Havelock/Neil on Makruzz/Govt Ferry or are there special arrangements which need to be made?

No, Bikes are not allowed to take in the Ferry (Govt. & Private). There are small cargo dingi's that ply between Port Blair and Havelock. One can take bike in that but its highly unsafe.

I hire bikes when in Havelock/Niel.
