Avenger will take the load except for few sharp steep turns on passes where pillion might have to get off the bike, I've seen people doing this, I don't have any pillion riding experience as such..
Plus, do go through few long rides with pillion as pillion comfort is very necessary when you will be riding for two weeks..
Once the 2016 season is over, you can follow Ladakh Planner 2017 thread on forum and enquire there for partners.. Sure you will get many..Dream. Dare. Discover. - Travelogue of my solo bike trip to Badrinath & Mana

1. Petrol Pump Availability
Leh - good
Nubra Valley/Diskit/Hunder - not reliable
Pangong lake - u may get it in black
Upshi - there is an Indian oil pump at Karu, 10 kms before Jispa
Jispa - Manali route - the only petrol pump you encounter on Leh Manali highway is at Tandi, 350 kms from Leh.
2. You must know the range of your bike with tank full, I was riding P180 so I didn't require to carry extra petrol. Do calculate the distance (with full tank) you can ride considering high altitudes and plan accordingly.
3. Kargil has ATM machines I believe, not sure though. Do carry enough cash, ATMs beyond Srinagar are not reliable, you do get enough ATMs in Leh, but other places its bit tricky.
When do you plan to ride bytheway?Dream. Dare. Discover. - Travelogue of my solo bike trip to Badrinath & Mana
