Day 5: Stopped over at a Buddhist archaeological site called Deuli. Had to go a couple of kms off road for this one. But the end pic was worth it :-). The road in the distance is the highway

Reached Kolkata last night, couldn't update the forum thread. I'll be staying in kolkata today for Bike service and leave for Siliguri tomorrow.

Ride safe and keep updated whenever possible.
Bangalore to Kolkata is a good start, But now the things will become difficult and excitement will start in terms of roads, scenery. Mind you connectivity may be limited.
By the way can you throw some light on how and why did you start this adventure, How did TVS get associated with this and why star city+ , could it not be a little powerful stead. Finally what are the procedures to travel internationally through this route.Comment

Day 7 Update: December 31 2015
Total distance covered: 465kms
Final stop: Raiganj, 180kms from Siliguri
Next Stop: Alipurduar. Guwahati
Met Aritra ans Swapnil from xBhp kolkata Chapter. They rode with me over a 100kms helping immensely in traversing the terrible roads post burdwan.

Current City: Siliguri
Next City: Guwahati
Distance to be covered: 440kms(Approx)
I left for Guwahati on 8th Day but had to return Siliguri due to some unavoidable reasons.
Leaving for Guwahati today again. Earthquake did hit Siliguri too but there weren't any aftershocks. Hoping to reach Guwahati by the eveningComment
