I am on the move on a solo trip from 9th March, want to ride as long/much as possible.

Am currently in kolkata after 3072 on the trip meter.

This is the track i have been so far:

The following are the links to the logs:

    Day1 - Bangalore Vijayvada

Day2 - Undavalli caves in Vijayvada

    Day3 - Vijayvada to Vizag

    Day4 - Around Vizag

Day 5 - Vizag to Borra caves to Aruku

    Day 6 - Aruku - Khatki falls - Bhuvaneshwar

    Day 7 - Around Bhuvaneshwar

Day 8 - Bhuvaneshwar to Puri

    Near Ashoka's Edicts

Day 9 - Chilika Lake and Konark

    Dolphin spotting.

    Konark Temple

Day 10 - Puri to Digha

    Day 11 - Digha - Diamond Harbour

    Bike on the ferry...

Day 12 - Diamond Harbor to Bokkali to Kolkata

Right now i am with my father who has come to visit me. Will stay in Kolkata for couple of more days for servicing the bike and some small shopping.

From here the general plan is to Visit Sunderbans. Still not sure of how to get there and other details. Then head to Bhutan and then North-east and see how much i can ride.

Since i am riding solo in unfamiliar areas to me, i might be needing some help on the way regarding info and logistics. So please help me out

            Praveen you are the MAN!!!!

When I saw the thread title on the tracker...had a gut feeling that its going to your thread!

Unplanned trips are the best, this is almost like the J-trail .....

            Simbly FANTASTIC man!

PS: How do you manage so much leave from office!

@praveen-I knew that you rode all the way to Kolkata but didn't expected that this is just the beginning.Hats off to you man.

Need some time to check the blog and pictures.

The GQ picture between Bangalore-Vijayawada looks butter smooth.I'm feeling like taking a nap in the middle of road.

Good to see that you took the ferry near Diamond Harbour.Ultimate experience.Btw did you spot any Gangetic Dolphins there? They are easily visible and are a treat to watch.

For Sunderban get in touch with Nabendubasu.Meanwhile I will try to add from my side sometime in the evening.

The Darjeeling-Siliguri & Siliguri-Guwahati section are very unsafe these days so take all possible precautions before covering that stretch and avoid riding in night.

sorry man i was so unsure of the route and and most of the deviations are unplanned with suggestions from friends. Not possible to edit the photos cos my laptop's LCD makes them look ok! All the pix are straight off the cam.

Btw can you give me info like getting to Sunderbans. As in how far can i take the bike and where i can store the bike and excess luggage till i come back from sunderbans.

Thanks for the wish MG. The ferry experiance was challenging and good it had lot of uncertainity. I am planning to skip the siliguiri-guwahati road. Plan to enter bhutan near siliguri and exit bhutan near guvahati. Thanks for the info. Those are the dolphins i spotted. the motor boats were scaring them away.

Wow!!! This is called Road Surfing with a Motorcycle on unknown territory. Brilliant stuff. Will need some time to check out the blogs and all. Some dreamy roads there with great photos of Lake Chilka and others. Hats off man. Truly inspiring.
The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!
