  • may be we all can pool in some money to publish your journey as a book. I am serious... most travel books I read have not even half the thrills, miles or days that your trip has.

          Getting into china on you bike will cost just around 7-8 lakhs or more Could become 2lakhs if you go there and buy a bike and ride around. Its complicated cos tibet is disputed.

          • @Praveen: Publishing a book is a real good idea mate. It'll help you recover your expenses to some extent. More importantly, it'll help readers discover parts of India they may never have known before! Almost everyone of the tourists carry the Lonely Planet book. Your recount is just as good. I am sure you could consult Old Fox to help you publish the book. He has published a few already.

                You should come out with a book, that would compliment your entire trip and will be well worth the effort put into doing it and will a rewarding experience!
