UPDATE : Harteij left Raipur yesterday for his ride at 6 am. Our small group gathered to wish him best of luck for his journey. We rode along with him till deori for breakfast. Initially he was having some problems in adjusting saddle bags because of extra backpack. He reached Nagpur at 12 pm and NRC ( Nagpur Riders Club ) gave him a warm welcome. Also yesterday he had a small interview with Times Of India at Nagpur. Yesterday he was not able to meet patients because of some reasons but he will be meeting them today. So, from his schedule he is late by one day.

UPDATE: Yesterday Harteij visited Nagpur's cancer hospital, sanjeevani NGO & a NGO called snehanchal palliative care who works for cancer patients. He had a nice interaction with cancer patients, their family members & hospital staff.

Sanjeevani NGO presented him a tshirt & book having cancer survivor name in it.




Today he is off to Mumbai, will be taking halt at aurangabad.

UPDATE: yesterday Harteij halted 60km before aurangabad, he met with some interesting people & places on his way.

He saw these three puppies near petrol pump at mehkar which reminded him of his pet hatchie [emoji20]



He met with these traffic policemen, when he told about motive of his ride, person standing behind Harteij told him that he will never eat ghutkha from now and directed him to visit lonar crater lake.

Visited sarovar which is called to be pain relieving sarovar, water coming from it is still not traced where it comes from & it is there 24x7 throughout the year.



Stupid people lies everywhere but it's when you meet them is not known to us. Harteij halted at road side hotel & parked his bike at hotel's parking lot, at night when he came out of his room to make a call to one of riders, he found that security guard was having a photoshoot with the bike and guard was drunk so couldn't balance the weight of the bike & fell down.
Damages were minor fairing scratches & bend gear lever. Now today he has to spend extra time at aurnagabad to repair that gear lever.

A noble ride indeed on a super machine to accomplish this feat. A lid off to you. At some point in your travelogue, do try and share some of the cancer awareness with us as well. Pity about the bent lever but these are the banes of riding the Ninja in our great country where no one respects another's property. I wish you a safe ride.

Sorry for the late update:

So on 4th May Harteij left for aurangabad to get ninja's gear lever fixed, NRC had given him contact number of GP auto store where his bike was taken care off. Owner ganesh pakhe sir took it on priority. He also met satyajeet pathrikar sir who is a doctor by profession but rider by heart. He also met some experienced riders like amit houzwala & abhijit patel who treated Harteij as their younger brother, also ganesh sir gifted him a chest-back protector. In the mean time he also visited a local NGO who looks after cancer patients.







He then left aurnagabad at 4pm and reached Mumbai at 11pm.

So next day ( 5 May ) he visited tata memorial hospital at parel.

Harteij met this guy while riding only.. He escorted him till Tata memorial though he was going somewhere else. He saved his lot of time

Harteij don't this guy's name but upon seeing Harteij telling about cancer awareness he threw tobacco which he was holding.The picture next to him is the tobacco which he was going to eat, he also promised not to eat it again, we hope that he keeps his promise.



Uncle in the pic was suffering from same cancer which Harteij was ( Hodgkin's lymphoma) he happens to be in first stage and done with four chemos but still some treatment is left.



Harteij's interview was published on Maharashtra times in Nagpur edition.



On 6th May he visited an organisation called Uncancer India & met with the Sushanth Kodela head of the organisation who himself is a cancer survivor.



He visited haji ali dargah to get blessings from almighty god.

Harteij was when about to leave Mumbai he got a call that Mr. Mahesh Bhatt & Mukesh Bhatt want to meet him. Both of them gave him their blessings for success of this campaign.







Today morning he left for pune.

UPDATE: On 12th May, Harteij visited Ruby Hall clinic, a famous cancer hospital in Pune. Met with some doctors & patients there.



Harteij with Dr. Sumit Basu ( chief radiation oncologist) , Dr. Shubhanda ( Sr. Manager for cancer centre ) & Dr. Minish Jain he also gifted his book on numerology.



He met with patients having multiple myeloma, mouth cancer & esophagus cancer.



At the end of the day he met some experienced riders like urvashi patole mam & sohan roy sir who shared their valuable experience with him and wished him luck.



On 13th May, he met with some of the bikers group like restless group, brotherhood of bikers & MH riders









Today ( 14th May ), some of his schoolmates & juniors met him and gave him a sweet gift.



Tomorrow he will leave for Hyderabad via sholapur & probably will be reaching Hyderabad on Monday ( 16th May ) where he will be staying for around 3 days.

As bob ( soumitra ) updated above, Harteij has reached Hyderabad on 15th May itself, he met sovereign riders in solapur then upon reaching Hyderabad he met with wanderers RE group, they gave him a waist bag as a gift.







Yesterday he gave ninja for general check up at varun motors and they didn't charged anything. He's in Hyderabad till Thursday/Friday, he will be visiting hospitals today.
