DAY 3: Madurai - Bangalore
We woke up at 7:00 am, freshened up and had a coffee. Walked into meenakshi amman temple. It was very huge, so we took our time and explored slowly. Some parts are restricted for non hindus, we respected that and just roamed around other areas. We went into thousand pillar mandapam. photo were allowed only in some places so we didnt risk taking in cameras, also there was extra charge for camera.

Thousand pillar mandapam
Near the west entrance there was small idly shop where we had idly for 10rs only.
After breakfast we left for the room and took a short nap. Woke up got ready for the return leg of the journey to bangalore. Some odd 400 KMs. Since we had the whole day we rode very relaxed. The rode was butter smooth highway all the way. We took a small break near Salem for lunch and some butt breaks in between too.
Lubed my bike's chain somewhere near karur
Some fun at short break
Just before entering Bangalore we hit the 2000Kms mark on the trip meter. My bike crossed 20K kms too. We reached Bangalore around 7:30 PM
our faces at end of the trip
Overall this trip was very eventful and a free ride as we wanted it to be. We were all surprised that there was no body aches even after such long rides. our body got accustomed to this posture maybe. We were happy that we completed 2K journey and reached southern tip as well. Just at the end we discussed our next plan to Kerala. We bid farewell and went to each of our room to rest.
Lastly my appreciation to the machines.
