Motorcycling across Sikkim | Day 6 (After break) | Mangan to Lachen

I tried to make it to Lachen before darkness and thankfully I could make it. But!! Oh boy!! The roads!! They were treacherous. I hoped that my tire could hold well till the end. Let the vlog explain it in a better way.

Congratulations on successfully completing your trip. Excellent piece of vlog out there with every details, infos and suggestions available. Loved it thoroughly.
We 6 guys are visiting Bhutan from kolkata next month. Any tips and suggestions are always welcome.

Also do join the xBhp Kolkata chapter so that we can ride together someday.

I missed the last ride from xBhp to Gangani canyons.

I did not visit Bhutan friend, so would not be able to tell you anything about that. Do let me know if you need any assistance on the Kolkata-Siliguri-Gangtok part!!

Is it possible to cover siliguri in one day if we start from dankuni toll at 6am??
If not, then where would be the best place to stop for the night before leaving for Phuentsholing the next day. We need to get our permissions done at Phuentsholing, so need to reach there as early as possible.
We are a group of 5 riders.

Yes, its absolutely possible to reach Siliguri starting from Dankuni at 6 am and reach within 9 pm. But, there are many factors for e.g. if you can ride that long how frequent breaks are taken.

Do note that starting at 4:30 am, I took a break of almost 2 hours near Raiganj and reached Siliguri by 7:30 pm. Apart from the 2 hour break, there were obviously numerous other short butt breaks/snack breaks etc.

Stay back at Malda if you do not wish to cover that long in a day.

Day 7 - Lachen to Gurudongmar & back

Waking up at around 3:30 am, the way below Zero temperatures made my bones shiver. This ride and this day was by far the toughest ride ever till date in my life.

But, when I reached the top, it was indeed a heaven on earth. You are just there to stay spell-bound!!! When I reached here, I was so happy and so thankful to many experienced motorcyclists at xBHP and outside who gave the insights and know how on how to do this.

I'm damn sure that this ride required a lot of endurance. The videos were all good and carved to perfection. Just curious to know how many falls you had in total?
