    If you are talking about Pen-Khopoli stretch then I would like to add that the stretch these days is in pretty good condition barring some 5-10kms.Did it few days back.

      the bad stretch is from the pen exit - wadhkal nakka..!!

      When i did this stretch(Penn-Khopoli) in 2008 that time it was as good as new...and when i did the same stretch its still the same..!!

        ya there are stretches of very bad roads but that constitute around 15-20%.Mostly near Pratapgarh.

        Rest are mostly like this (see the pic).



        The ghats are really nice with lots of nice corners.vaise my gyan about twisties n cornering is not very high...so lets ride down thr sometime will all pune xbhpians.
