Deep, I am surprised, I always thought that the Bullet gives better fuel economy! Is this City or Long Distance rides?Originally posted by desideep View PostThats not bad at al Anurag jee that's what i used to get on my bullet :P
Intruder econ is ofcourse less in city, I dont know how much less but I am quite sure that it is less and it is only logical.Life is like riding a bike. It is impossible to maintain your balance while standing still.

in the city it would give me 30ish but when on the highway or read it as long trips it would drop down to less then 20.Originally posted by AnuragAshok View PostDeep, I am surprised, I always thought that the Bullet gives better fuel economy! Is this City or Long Distance rides?

Anurag sir theoratically yes,we should always expect better figures on highways.Originally posted by AnuragAshok View PostI always thought that cars, bikes mileage is better on the highways than city driving? That is also my experience with my cars/bike.
Maybe you should get your bike checked with Royal Enfield?
Thanks to our engines we rip on highways and hence lower mileage figures.
I get around 30-33Kmpl on my zma within city and on highways figure drops to ~27kmpl.

Sunny and Anurag: You guys had a lovely, albeit truncated ride. That Intruder looks delectable as always. Too bad you couldn't hit your destination. Always is a downer when the weather plays spoilsport. But the upside is, you guys in Delhi can make another run over the weekend
