Amazing pics and logs man... seriously wonderful... Wish I could do something like this with my new job adn all in chennai... do PM me... or put in the plan before you plan the next trip... might make it... but need to plan in advance though... poor me...

So got fresh, changed our attire and got off to see the famed Edakkal Caves.
First pic of the day from our room.

Phantom Rock 2 kms
the view from the quarry... we thought the headlike structure on the right side was the phantom rock...
climbing back down....
But then, we saw some group of tourists and climbing a different route..
Then I imagined that it might be the REAL PHANTOM ROCK!!!!. So just followed them.

Then we realized that we needed to reach the base of the caves by travelling in the Jeep.
The edakkal hermitage.. would love to stay here..

we thought the climb was over...

90 pc of the people who came here.. would have stopped at gate number 2.. See the caves and get back..

But infront of us was one young lady.. she was climbing as if she was a snake.. slithering through the rocks..
I guess she was the one who inspired us..

Just gave her a wry smile.. and she did smile back..
I guess it was for our efforts..
