    and to add to that, we took a 4 inch nail(0.5cm in diameter) out of the tyre and it didnt even give a slightest hint of pressure loss.

    ya I guess its the same chain spray, you a spray a little on ur thumb, then press a little with your index finger and rotate for 30 sec, then separate the fingers slowly, the liquid should make a web like thing. The thicker the web better the spray!

      great pics... I guess the pics taken with SX200 was in landscape mode, am I right?..
      The greenery provided in those pics are splendid; also I'm happy to know that atleast some good guys put the name of the camera they used with their pics and log

      Then again that's one heck of a ride you have done offroad Were your spines as good on your return

                  What's the brand? I think as long as it lubes and it sticks it passes the first test. Second it to check whether it is O-ring neutral or not. An adhesive spray might be o-ring neutral (just an assumption and is not based on any facts)

                  Hey Rocky, how is the Sirac for road use? Is it really noisy? To know what tyre noise is, you can ride next to Prabhu's bike at around 80kmph . And are they softer than the stock rubber?
                  Sirac is not noisy. I ride behind or parallel to a P220 with Sirac quite often at speeds near the ton and it is not noisy at all. And it is much softer compound than the stock rubber - has a lot more grip.

                      The name of the chain spray i got was Release-On R840. If I did the 30 sec rotation thing, my finger would probably be glued Damn thing is so sticky. 4inch nail? I suppose it went into one of the buttons?

                      Brand is Release-On R840. It lubes, but since its so very sticky, feels like it would dry up too soon. Prabhu, please confirm if the chain spray you used was the same. Similar long black container. It doesn't particularly say that its made for O-rings.

                      And regarding the Sirac, I guess it would be one of the contenders for my next tyre change. Thanks Hyd.

                        well then that might not a good chain spray the one I have is some Thailand make and costs 850 and comes with a white can (I say everything except the name is it)

                        Regarding the nail, it tried to pierce through the spot where the button begins from the tyre, but got bent inside. was scary to look from out side that I asked the fellow if he has the tubeless puncture kit for sure Well not a bad tyre for 5K aint it.

                                I must say the tyre goes well with your bulletproof style of riding. And you did not carry a Puncture repair kit with you! All India tourer screwed if theres a puncture! I guess it would'v been nice to see the real performance of your tyre if you had taken it to the trek.

                                And regarding the spray, will do the 30 second thingy before I confirm that its bad stuff.
