My Pictures
Guys,
At the outset, apologies for delaying my contribution to the thread of which I am an integral part having embarked on this beautiful trip to this beautiful place to spend 3 days of motorcycling pleasure and indulgence in typical Rajasthani terrain of which I am a fan and towards which I am completely biased having grown up in Rajasthan.
Below are my pictures and due to paucity of time, I am not able to comment on each one of them but they are a mixed lot.. Some of the birds that I took from my Canon5DII with a 100-400 mm lense, of the palace and other non-bike pictures and some pictures of the bike with the Sunbeam which I hope you like.. Of note is the picture of Mr. Veer Bhadra Deogarh (VB) riding my bike.
A special mention to VB, who is a great host and a thorough gentleman and who really know how to make guests feel at home at the awesome palace.

Thanks for sharing. Good to see you active once again here. And yes... you do look good driving around in that Sunbeam.

Hey. No big deal. Just come over and we can meet or go for a ride or something. I am not a big tourer or anything. There are people like Kurtrules, Lovemax, Vivek Sharma in the North and there are lots others in the South. I am nothing in front of them.Originally posted by shailendra.malik View PostHi Ken da,

Missed out on this thread in the last few days. Finally caught up with it!
Ken-Da you had a lot of fun on this trip and seems like other families present too had their share. The pictures are great! Write ups are always requested, as you write some amazing stuff each time you do. Deepanjali's text made a very good read. Btw, The way you handled the cops was just amazing. I was LMAO as i read it, and re-read it.--------------------------------

Last instalment!
This is what happens when you get used to Royal treatment. You get lazy. And expect the other to do your job. Sorry for the delay. Giving you the last set of photographs.
Singh Sagar at night:

Veer Bhadra Singh elegantly driven in his 1947 Dodge pick up that you guys saw on Page 1.

We took numerous stops in the forest to shoot photographs of birds that Dipanjali would be the best person to describe. I am not an ornithologist which is another quality in Mr Veer Bhadra Singh
The Gentleman par excellence Veer Bhadra Singh

View of NH8 from the Dodge en route to the reserve Forest

The wonderful daughters of Anurag posing on the Dodge with Dipanjali:

After the morning shoot and breakfast in the wilderness, we headed back to the palace. We were taken to the garage of the royal family. There we got to see some wonderful beauties. I will show some of them:
The Sunbeam Talbot

A Jag

With its distinguished owner

Shortly after, Moon and I had to take our journey back. Later in the day, Anurag took the Sunbeam Talbot out for a spin as you must have seen in one of the earlier pages. Another memorable outing for me came to an end. But as I have said earlier... I will keep coming back to this place. You should read what Peter Sever had to say about this place. He is ready to pay 400 US$ 4 seasons to spend 3-4 nights... gosh even a week here.
Thanks for the appreciation. Yes, it was a fun trip. And Dipanjali writes very well... I realised that too!Originally posted by KwokFist View PostMissed out on this thread in the last few days. Finally caught up with it!
