    Yamaha Xpress (Calicut to Nagercoil via Thekkady)

    Total Days Taken: 5
    Riders: 2
    Bikes: R15&FZ16
    Cameras: Cannon powershot A550,Sony cybershot W750,Nokia N79
    Distance Covered: 1093kms
    Route: Calicut-Kumili-Thekaddy-Trivandrum-Thakkalla-Calicut

    It was a long time since we did a tour. Finally it came upon us as my buddy (Sujith) decided to leave gods own country for rich sandy deserts. We started our journey on May 30th we were expecting rain as it was raining the whole week and it’s the beginning of the monsoons. This would have made way for superb photography, unfortunately it didn’t rain for 90% journey, only on the way return. Anyway we packed the bags, closed the lids, hurled the jackets, tucked in the gloves and were ready to hit the roads. We started at 6 in the morning both the bikes was serviced a day before so wasn’t expecting any bumps on the way.

                            Nice trip. Good to see Yamaha Family, both in red color.

                            Accidents are part and parcel of biking. Forget about it and move on. But, Sujit is lucky that the poor lady accepted her fault. Otherwise, things would have been nightmare.

                            BTW, the pics are nice. Waiting for the rest.
