No man will be a marine engineer who has contrivance enough to get himself into a jail;for being in a ship is being in jail, with a chance of being drowned.A man in a jail has more room, better food and commonly better company.

      Day 2
It was all about natures wild beauty. From kumili we reached thekkadi within 15mins got a tickets for boat ride upper deck. It was nice and we were able to see some jumbos which is a big thing as people told usually the boat ride doesn’t yield anything. Got back to the place bikes were parked and there was so many curious onlookers for Fz none for r15 strange. Then we went to a place called chellayarcovil this place is some 3000 feet high and we were able to see a town in tamil nadu known as gudaloor these hilltop r waterfall areas but now its all dried up...due to the late monsoons...
      Here are the nice pics

Nice ride. Nice bikes. Nice text. Nice crisp pictures. Some bad roads. The place that you have shown on Day2 pictures is beautiful. Yes, you are right, we Indians throw empty bottles in the middle of a beautiful place without a care in the world!

The incident about hitting the woman at Stop and Go was quite scary. Had the woman herself not intervened, anything could have happened. Finally it is her intervention that saved you guys the ride. It seems that it is a crime in this country to wear protective gear!

Good thing that you were standing in front of the horse if it really was a wild one!

Thanks for sharing the nice ride.
The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

                Day3
                Distance covered: 240kms
We started by 8 in the morning and reached Trivandrum by 2 in the afternoon. There weren’t many pictures taken as it was get to the destination as soon as possible mantra. Stayed in grandpa’s house deciding to have a visit to my rubber estate the following morning.

                Day 4
By 8 we started from tvm reached thakalla by 10.i haven’t visited the estate for over 7 yrs now. We hiked all the way to the top....it was tough..after 3 days of riding and to hike my body was having a tough time...any way it took around 3 hr to climb up and down..saw some monkeys wanted to hurl some smoke bombs at them just to scare them away they just love to destroy those banana plantations...by 2 we went to the nearby padmanabhapuram palace.wow it really was humongous really wonderful you have to visit this area for once at least. Left there by 4 and reached the shagumagham beach by 6...

p.s: The ticket for indians 25rs...foreigners 200rs...what great hospitality..

                                Day 5
                                Total distance covered: 427kms

We started our return journey by 5:30 in the morning. It was flat-out riding all the way through the highway. Stopped in for having breakfast at kalpakavaddi(superb cuisine) around 7.30.refuelled nearby indain oil and checked the tyre pressure. Till cochin the rain was off and on 3kms rains next 10kms nothing.while riding through the horrible traffic in cochin sujith met with his 2nd accident. This time i saw everything. We were leaving a railway crossing and the speed would hardly touch 20kmph out off the blue a Suzuki access whistled passed me and then next thing a bang..Fz has fallen. This guy took a sharp turn in front of the fz trying to avoid another oncoming vehicle and he got his handlebar and mirror in between the fz handlebar it happened so fast.fz simply lost control the person riding the access was a guy around 16 no helmet no license he immediately got off his ride and parked. By this time i completely lost my mind..sujith was so cool and he was stopping me from beating this guy...2 slaps after and i came into my senses. Asked him to call his parents he was almost in tears...as soon this happened people flocked us thank god the saw everything was really having a go at access guy. Finally i gave him a lecture in riding safe and helmet and told him to ride only after he get his license etc etc...we left...by 2.30in the afternoon we reached home...everybody was happy to see us in one piece.
                                1. Handle bar bent to the right side
                                2. Scratches on the headlight and silencer
                                3. Broken reflector

                                The rain gods
