It was supposed to be a 2 days family trip in car. Wife and daughter dropped last min due to college and school assignments. So converted it into Solo Bike Ride. Don't wanna miss the opportunity ..
PS: Sorry about the photos quality. Most of them are taken in mobile.

        All set previous night itself

Reached Tirupati around 9.30am. It was a very pleasant ride with very good weather. Reached the Hotel Ramcharan Residency which is very near to the Tirumala hill climbing check post. Booked it couple of days before the trip. Very good hotel. Rooms are nice and neat. Recommended for family stay. Taken one hour rest and got freshen up. Left most of the stuffs at room and took only necessary items. Started by 11:00am and reached the top by around 12:00pm.

Reached Thirumala top, parking near the main temple. Golden town in all its glory .

Oops forgot to bring Dhoty. Yes, you need to wear traditional dress to enter the temple. Purchased the Dhoti in nearby shop and wore it on top of jeans.. Lol. It was bit less crowded surprisingly. Had a very good dharsan in 3 Hours.

My friend told me over the phone that if it is less crowded, don't miss to visit the temple again in the evening by 5:30pm. That time I can have Utsavar Dharsan and Utsavar Procession around the temple with two elephants also can be seen. So returned back to main entrance of the temple. Also I realized that I can take bath in the holy Pushkarini Pond where it is believed that lord Tirupati himself used to take bath there..

              ..back after long time .

Day 2 - Woke up around 6 am and got ready by 8am. Had mild breakfast and started. Left most of the luggage at hotel room. Since I need to trek nearly 2kms / 30 mins form the base bike parking.

Plan is to visit Talakona falls in the morning, Spend max 1 hour in the falls, come back to hotel by noon, check-out and ride back to home, Chennai. Below is the route..

On this route there are multiple tourist attractions like Sri Venkateshwara National Park, Kalyani Dam, couple of temples, etc. but I skipped them due to time constraint.

Most of the ride was in Chennai to Anantapur Highway. There was ghat road for approximately for 6-7 KMs which was very nice forest road (Green area in the above map). At the same time it was too risky drive due to sudden curves after lengthy descending, speeding vehicles etc. Need to be careful. And the view was awesome.

We need to take right at Bhakarapeta and proceed to Talakona for approx. 25 Kms. This road will be mostly rural village roads covered by agriculture lands both sides and then Talakona Sheshachala forest area.

At one point I was lost in the middle of the Sheshachala Forest due to GPS disconnect and there was no mobile signal. The map was freeze some time back and I was blindly following that route. I ended up with this dead-end .. with nobody around. I spent few mins here and enjoyed the nature and its pure sound. Thrilled..

Took U turn and return back for few KMs in the same route and saw few people in a tea shop. Enquired them and proceeded in the correct route to Talakona.

              Yay! reached at-last

There was Talakona Sivalayam temple surrounded by food and tea shops. At this point entry ticket of Rs. 30 collected for bike. Took a tea break and then proceeded for approx 1.5 KMs to reach the parking. It was safe place but nobody was there to look after or collect parking fee. Parked the bike under a tree securely and started the trekking. It starts with a small water pond.

2KMs Trekking experience was very good, surrounded by calm forest. Few places were prone to skid and few places were kind small rocks.. need to be careful. I was wearing outdoor shoes which is fine for mild trekking. So it was so comfortable.
