Vaibhav---Too much Man....too good...no expletives can actually explain the beauty of this place..

North guys are really lucky that they can manage all these places in 6-8 days...

For us making our office chair warm...15 days holidays is almost an impossibility

Like I said, was fluked because I was solo. I believe they do issue permits for groups.

Day 7 Leh-Srinagar (434 km, 13 hours)What the hell are you doing hereI gasped in horror!!!.

Gave it a full throttle and zoomed pass him, when up ahead, another man was pulling down the barrier.

Mate, that escape that you had, almost made me skip a beat.

I can very well understand what you must have gone through, you narrated it so well. Good that you came out of it Unhurt.
Woosh, am out of words again, but perhaps, I will be starting of My tale of adventure of last year to Leh Pretty Soon.

Finally went through the whole hog! Lovely photographs and a courageous solo venture I must admit. Remarkable feat. Guts and glory! And while moving from Kargil, Drass, did you face traffic problems at Zojila?
The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

Pardon my ignorance, but why would people try to stop anyone ? is the reason being the blasts you are talking about. Strange, very strange

Well, trucks, mainly and lots of them ... Huge queues ... The thing is LMV's are supposed to take the route going down from india gate and trucks take the longer, more filthy route which goes straight and has an easier descent ... I took the latter!

Why! ... That was one question I asked myself as well ... But I am glad I didnt stick around to find answers!...

The reason for the rage, what I comprehended, was primarily the Amarnath Land Issue that was goin on there at that time ...
