Good to see the log coming alive. Yes, it is indeed a good idea to ride in a staggered formation when you ride in a group. Very decent and mature riding through hot and arid areas. Again a good thing that you guys kept drinking lots of water. Biking really dehydrates you.

Thanks to Shivanshu, Kamal, Abhishek and DD for helping these musketeers out.

Enjoying the read. "Hotel Peace" was too funny!
The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

hey thnx a ton ketan for the wonderful appreciation. Parents are never worst, they are just too caring sometimes.. SO nothing wrong with it.. take ur time convince them.. make sure they are happy with you going there or atleast understand how important this is for you... & its not something out of the box.. its a adventure which everyone likes to do.. so nothing to be scared.. just gain that faith..
      All the best for that..
About the log, More is never enough.. WARNING..! Lengthy Logs Ahead.!! Working on it..
Hey thanx rachit.. and no no no.. u got me wrong.. I didn't use the word worst from that intension.. what I meant was they are way too much caring and scared of all these things.. the rides..adventure.. LEH I can't call them worst the way you thought even in my dreams.. even though they are that much scared they let me go on my first ever long ride on Activa to Goa.. when I had not even crossed my 20.. That was brave.. and ever since then not major convincing needed for all these rides.. Ab chota mota rona dhona chalta hi rehta hai.. can't help it.. they are parents afterall.. But Leh... Leh is something way above rest of the rides and they've watching reading all the movies/stories of Leh voyages.. and therefore it'll b difficult to convince them.. Am gonna take you to my place for convicing... You take care of it then...

              Nice write Rachit.

I could feel how difficult it would have been to convince the parents.
While reading the logs I was just thinking how will I convince my parents .Afterall ultimate destination for every tourer is LEH and every one atleast dreams of it.

hey thnks Ken, yes you are absolutely right with that ride formation thing.. we really realized here on this journey how important & benificial it is. Apart from looking impressive its extremely helpful & makes each other feel quiet confident. Learnt it on this ride.!!
Water was the most important thing we felt than the food..!! Rajasthan, water.. vow..!

i know it has to be difficult, but thats how the preparations starts for this massive journey & u will remember throughout your life, the way i did.. i never thought I would write something on how difficult/easy it was for me while thinking & executing the plan.. But it happened..
No worries, I will surely come at your place for convincing your parents.. But before that I would have to hide that scratched knee pad

yes inder.. its really difficult to gather the memories, points & the most complicated thing is sorting out the pix which are almost 2000..
