have got hooked on to this thread now...the logs are very well written and one can actaully feel what you must be going through when riding. And indeed, leh is a bikers country and the route (even spiti for tht matter) have bikers saluting/cheering/giving thumbs up to fellow bikers...That's what is called biking spirit and brotherhood.

wow..too good...amazing pics!..i feel so inspired from u ppl..and am goin next june for sure!...btw i have a question!...does tat red karizma has button tyre??,,is it good for the long ride??..i have the same one too but i get very less grip on wet roads..and also i heard tat having k&n is not good for high altitude rides...please adivce guys!...Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, 'Wow! What a Ride

Awsome.... really well written. Whenever I read such bolgs, I start wondering when will my turn come to write such a blog.
Its really a dream for me to to go on bike to leh and I hope to realise it soon.
@ Rachit - You dint consider going to Leh without telling your parents?
I am exactly in your position as far as convincing my parents are concerned. I am not sure whether they will ever agree. Its a strict no - no to any kind of higways. Till now I was making the plans without telling them, but I dont want to go to Leh without their permssion. I guess I will have to start brainwashing them right from today :P

thanks buddy for the lovely commentsOriginally posted by Rudra View Posthats off to you guys..great read and pics... waiting for more..keep it coming
thanks man. The tyre is MRF Meteor. Its hard compound. Good for offroading & on rough terrain. Perfect for roads of mountains like LEH. thats the reason I had put.Originally posted by the_feral View Postwow..too good...amazing pics!..i feel so inspired from u ppl..and am goin next june for sure!...btw i have a question!...does tat red karizma has button tyre??,,is it good for the long ride??..i have the same one too but i get very less grip on wet roads..and also i heard tat having k&n is not good for high altitude rides...please adivce guys!...
About K&N, no idea about it. But Gopi (Razor) had K&N on his Apache & his bike was without any problems.
Thanks for understanding. The log will be resumed in few days & it will be completed soon. I guess in this chilling climate, reading about leh would be just perfectOriginally posted by anshul uniyal View Postyeah i do understand the work part. I too had the same problem when i came back from Chandratal.
