Hi SKSy_Biker,
It might sound well in advance but the thing is 2 of my friends have to come from Germany and I am buying a Yedi especially for this trip.so i want everything to be in place or else i can plan for alternatives. Thanks for your comments.
I request all to suggest a more interesting route and spot other than the return route i had mentioned in my first post.

I guess finding 2 yezdis in good condition might be difficult. You can go for 2 more thunderbirds instead.Comment

Day 1
Bangalore ->Sharavanabelagola -> chikmagalur ->Hornadu (ghat section) > Kudhremukh -> Agumbe-> Udupi (420 Km)
This would be very difficult to do in one day, if you leave early (say 4 or 5) you will reach chikamagalur by lunch, taking your route and spending time in shravanabelogala and then if you are in chikamagalur you have to see mulaiyanagiri, baba budan giri. else don't go there
Take this route:
Bangalore ->ShravanaBelagola->Hassan->Belur (see temple)->Kottige hara->Kalasa via Magundi -> Kudremukh ->Udupi
Hornadu is 10 km from Kalasa and off the route, and Agumbe you won't hit if you are taking KudremukhOption 1 -> you won't hit Agumbe, you will get down at Bachagoli and then through karkala you will hit Agumbe.
Option 2 -> Chikamagalur -> Aldur->Ballehonnur->Jayapura->Koppa->Thirthalli->Someshwara->Agumbe
or skip Thirtahalli and head through non NH route to someshwara.
Thirtahalli to Ballehonnur was a joy to ride for us previous week, awesome roads with beautiful scenery.
I am looking for good and scenic roads and please let me know if there are any place to stay before udupi. As for girls who are coming with us this will be the first long bike trip so i am not sure whether this Day1 is doable as planned.Your comments are welcome.Also let me know how this route will be during december time. Will there by rain during december.
Day 2:
Udupi->Murudeshwar(beach)->Gokarna alias OM beach-> Karwar->Goa (310Km)
You will reach Gokarna in evening, enjoy there, halt in Karwar for night, quite cheap lodging, head morning to Goa
Day 3 & 4 :
Party at Goa
Day 5:
Goa->Jog falls->Shimoga (340 Km)
Jog falls will not be that good then, better come through Goa->karwar->Dandeli->Londa->Belgaum->GQ
Is december end a good time to visit jog falls.if not is there any other place to visit.
Day 6:
Shimoga->Bangalore (277 Km)

I am not able to find Roadkings at all. whatever i found it in net are qouted sky high(say 25 k and so on).Thunderbird is not within our budget.

Which route will be the best considering the current road conditions towards goa? Planning for a night halt as well and would be travelling in the day time.Comment

what are you planning in December we are doing it in this month. But the plan is little different. We are taking 8 days leaving on 26th September. We are 5 riders and one pillow rider. The only consern for us is the rain.Yamaha FZ16 - 2009 to 2011
