It was the last few kilometers to reach the top and a subtle sense of disorientation were creeping in through my neck. I was trying to rip hard, only to make it difficult for my bike. She was having serious breathing trouble. So I controlled her throttle and was literally crawling towards the top.
It was not far any more. Just a matter of another 10 minutes, and we saw the landmark, saying we had reached Tanglan-La, last hurdle before reaching Leh.

Just joined xbhp and what an awesome thread to read first up. The pics were superb, the writeup awesome and the tips in between were extremely useful.
You are lucky to have friends who share the same passion. I am the only one in my group of friends who want to bike to Leh and Ladakh
