Yes the location is a giveaway. But the emphasis isnt on the location. It was actually a very quick ride to KDM and back but i decided to present it in a better way.

The report will be up in sometime. Having power outages here and unable to post it as my laptop is almost outta charge!

Kudremukh!

I've been there half a dozen times already. Its a special place. A contrast from the city i live in. Beautiful, serene and engaging.
Kudremukh is about 110kms from Mangalore and a fantastic destination for a weekend getaway. It was Sunday and we decided to head over to KDM, Kudremukh as we call it.

Basically all that we did on this trip was have more fun, ride while managing time and taking some pictures along the way.

Thilak had brought his tri-pod with him and i had my friend Sidharth's cam and we used it to take quite a few pictures.

This day i almost peaked out my mini-R1. I had hit 143 max before and 142 on the trip but i managed a best of 145kmph on this day. Crouching for over a kilometer, i managed to hit the best speed on my Storm ever! The bike stayed upwards of 140kph multiple times on the stretch with a best of 145kmph. 6 kmph less off redline.


Managed my best top speed so far on my R15





This was my 5th trip to Kudremukh this year.
Looking forward to the next one!

Sorry to keep you waiting ken-da! took some time to post the images! as it kept messing up the post and still i'm unable to fix some of the formatting issues as everything is not in line if u see..

I have 1000+/- images from previous Kudremukh rides. I will post some previous backlogged trip logs, soon as i can find time to do some editing.
