btw.. any particular reason for coming north of blr?.. had you come here in aug-sept you'd have gone back with the biggest grin ever.. nows a better time for ooty, munnar, kerala .. but i guess that's been done several times over..
@hydro- Bored of south man , can go whenever you feel like , its like backyard.
MH or i even had plans of meeting of meeting our friends across the border (wagah). and dump bike in train n fly back from delhi.

Vaas2000 will also be coming with me .( u ll be able to find him on scale model thread) .

I wanna see Mumbai :-), the famed city.

really great plan.. but I would say, kind of saddel sore ..

after every 3 days, keep one day as backup.. absolutly blank/ '0' KM covered.
just in case you like some place.. or road condition is too bad.. or god forbid ny accident.
just suggestion.
also, decide on whether you want to see some place or just pass through it.
like day7:
lonar, aurangabad, pune, diveagar.. you are covering 4 big places.. you want to see something in there.. or just pass through them..

either way is fine.. but first decide and then make a decision

also, try to reach a place a night, where the accomodation is good and cheaper

more suggestions with comments:

Day 1: Bangalore – Belgaum – Amboli – Tarkarli (Beach)
Day 2: Tarkarli – Malvan (Sindhudurh Fort) – Devbagh Beach – Vijaydurg – Ganapatipule
Day 3: Ganapatipule – Chiplun – Koyna – Karad – Satara (Windmill Farms)

--> NO IDEA, WHERE TO STAY IN SATARA, BETTER ASK SOMEONE..

Day 4: Satara – Mahabaleshwar (You can take your bike in a boat: Refer PKM blog) – Poladpur – Mahad – Bhor – Nasrapur – Pune

--> SEARCH A BIT AND IF YOU CAN SKIP MAHAD, TRY TO AVOID BHOR ROUTE. INSTEAD DO MAHABALESHWAR TO PUNE. 150 KM. SMOOTH ROAD. 2-2.5 HOURS.. AND SPEND WHOLE DAY IN MAHAB/ PUNE INSTEAD. THIS CAN BE TREATED AS THE BLANK DAY I WAS TALKING ABOUT

Day 5: Pune – Narayangaon – Bhandardara – Jawahar – Trimbakeshwar – Nasik
Day 6: Nasik – Ellora – Lonar
Day 7: Lonar – Jalna – Aurangabad – Ahmednagar – Pune – Pirangut – Mulshi – Mhasla – Diveagar (Beach)
--> DAY7 SEEMS A BIT SADDEL SOUR.. but i guess, Day6 and 7 has been quite easy.. so should manage.

Day 8: Diveagar – Mahad – Chiplun – Ratnagiri – Kankavli – Margao
Day 9: Margao – Bangalore (Take the route you wish to take).

have done in last three weeks:
pune - ganpatipule - pune (overnight stay)
pune - tarkarli - pune (overnight stay)
Pune- mulshi-mangon-mahad-poladpur-mahab-pune(non-stop : 8 hours slow riding..))

chiplun to koyna is one of the heavenly route..

this weekend doing pune - diveagar - pune leisure overnight stay.

Thanks guys for the overwhelming response, now we got so many routes that we can choose and prepare our final itenary. Exactly a week from now, we will be heading towards MH, so far we haven't decided the final itenary due to Pain in the a$$ schedules of haapiss We will be finalising the itenary by monday and will be posting the details. The list of riders:
