Anyways just wanted to for my knowledge, right now its winters so that leather suit seems quite fine...just wanted to ask why didnt u go in for the synthetice ones ? Wont the leather roast you during summers ? Bcoz i bought the mesh ones and they work fine in summers too....but leather was something i thought was not made for Indian climate...but im sure u must have thought on it and bought it.

BTW i am a Dainese fanboy have bought Dainese for myself And Sidi Shoes is a very good choice...Arai i dont have to comment anything
You should do that stretch sometimes - great roads, and it is awesome fun!

I chose leathers because it has the highest abrasion resistance - I read somewhere that on a 80kmph spill on the road, Denim has 4 feet of wear, Kevlar/other synthetics has 18 feet and 1.2 mm cowhide can go up to 86 feet of drag on the road before it wears out!

So by buying leathers, I went for protection and safety over everything else. I do my touring mostly between November to February, so leathers suit me well. And I bought a jacket/pant with mesh panels sewn into leathers, so it keeps me ventilated as long as I am moving at around 40-50 kmph.

And I love Dainese, though their prices makes Astars rates look like a closeout deal!

Hope you get the paint job done soon - we'll go on a ride together then! Two 250cc bikes burning rubber on the open roads !

Since you mention that, how much did you pay for that leather suit? Just curious

A little over $1,000. I bought the jacket and pant separately after a gap of two months since I could not afford that sum in one go...

I'd rather be riding my motorcycle thinking about God than sitting in church thinking about my motorcycle.
Ride often, ride well, have fun.
