    Touring Wishlist for the year 2010

    As a new year starts we start thinking of various places which we plan to tour/ride in the coming year. So what is this thread for? We will share our tentative (wishlist) ride plans for the year 2010 which is there on my mind.

    This way we will get to know each others plan and might bump on each other. Jokes apart I feel it will be quite nice to see who all are planning what for the year 2010.What say?

    I will add my plans sometime later today after going through the calender one more time.

    This is my wishlist for this year. Not my tentative list, coz my tentative list looks empty

    1. June- Kerala Hill stations
    2. July-Spiti Circuit
    3. August-Karnataka Interiors
    4. December-Uttaranchal

    And the dream continues....

      For me there are going to many small tours in the upcoming months, which are unplanned, but will highlight the major ones which I have in mind:

      1) June/July: Zanskar and Leh circuit
      2) September: Spiti
      3) October: Mughal Road
      4) November: Rann of Kutch

        This year MY prime "target" is Chandratal, by any means! Other destinations can wait!

          Need to check the office leaves calendar to know exact months when i would be able to go, but here goes my wishlist

          1. Spiti-Chandratal-rohtang and back.
          2. Dalhousie-Khajjiar-Sach pass
          3. Munsiyari
          4. Revisit Auli and Chaukori.
          5. Hopefully many Nainital-Almora road trips. Exquisite is the word for that part of the road :-) Nah!! Lavasa is nothing compared to it

              Well i am planning for manali and rohtang in march, actually i am taking it as pre leh tour or can call preparation for leh in the near future because till date never gone so long. Any body interested is welcomed

                    2 Big trips planned/thought of this year:

                    1) Leh/Ladakh --> July/August
                    2) Rann of Kutch --> Not decided yet.

                      I already made a trip to Kanyakumari with my bro touring impotant places of TN & Ernakulam....... will be posting the detailed report within few days(was out of touch of xbhp for quiet a long time).......

                      my further plans---
                      till july -- whole of Maharashtra, few places in Gujarat n probably Goa.....
                      july/august -- Leh trip
                      september onward -- had to go home...... by train...... after that no such plan........

                        1) leh/ladakh - june/july all other trips can wait.

                          June/ July - Leh
                          September / October - Rameshwaram & Kanyakumari
                          December - Goa

                            February 12th to 28th: Complete Golden quadrilateral+Punjab.

                            October: Tokyo to Mount Fuji, Japan.
