Wonderful! Yet another beautiful presentation of the day's events, accompanied by some mouth-watering vistas..

I can imagine the excitement/amazement/sense of achievement you guys must have felt when everyone you see (bikers/kids/truckers, etc.) waves at you..Amazing experience, this..

Towards the latter part of the write-up, this line made me laugh out really loud!

“Sir garma garam patli patli Chapati hain aur lijiye, aur lijiye”

    P.S: Don't ask why!

Your fourth day was quite interesting. Seeing sand dunes in Himalayas for the first time.

Amazing pics and an equally nice log complementing the pics.

Reading your log and seeing your pics is day by day inclining me to go for this trip atleast once in my life.

Thank you for sharing with us your experiences and memories.

              Eagerly waiting for more...........

Fourth Day was THE best of all the days Imran bhai, good going, bahut slow ho aap

This part of the country has always been in my To Do list since I saw the pics first time some years ago, now your log makes it more tempting Imran Bhai, agle saal mein attempt karta hoon(many hurdles you know).. Will surely bug you, nicely

btw hows the stretch between Leh and K-Top in terms of incline and toughness, is it easily doable or all 1st gear material?

Setu Dear, slow to hoon, but I am trying my best right now in between all the work that is pending at office. I am sure very soon you will be riding to LEH, all the best.
Stretch between LEH and K-Top is quite easy, untill the last 12-14kms you can easily ride in 3rd-4th gear maintaining a speed of 40-50kmph, post which just due to bad roads and not the incilnation one rides in 2nd gear.

We all have stayed at Dalhousie for 3.5yrs, so the experience of snow and struggle at an heigher altitude wasn't new for them. They were quite surprised looking at the sand dunes and camel in Nubra. Though they really liked the pictures and enjoyed the story ... my Mom just said "Our Son has gone Crazy".

Thanks Archistar, some more is coming soon.
I'd rather be riding my motorcycle thinking about God than sitting in church thinking about my motorcycle.
Ride often, ride well, have fun.

A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel.

Always be ready (get geared) to fall and then think of sitting on the motorcycle.
