          Day 3

          DAY 3:

          mcleodganj to panipat

          the final day...
we all knew that it has to be a long riding day, ravi bhai and abhishek bhai told everyone to get ready by 07:00 but how can it happen....
this time the man was aseem bhai...while we all were busy clicking our final photos at the LAMA'S PLACE aseem bhai was getting ready...
          line up@ mclo

finally after 20 odd minutes he was there with us.....js a few clicks after that and here we go..
we choosed the shorter way to reach dharamshala...but i can bet it was too damn awesome with some really nice snow capped
          mountain views

at some places the bike was going to 65-70km/hr without any acceleration...within minutes we reached the petrol pump and almost everyone had some fuelling done...
          petrol pump

          and we were clicking photos
          at the pump
          lovish09(me)

          saaki bro

but as saif bro started his bike and moved some 10-15 metres..his bike was like...all power lost tried to start it but hard luck...it was like not coming to life...he took it to a side and ravi bhai and kunjal started checking it up....and when ravi bhai said about that there might be a
cdi problem ....saif bro's face was like.....( only he could explain that)
ravi bhai and kunjal fixing the xma

then they thought of checking the relay...opened it up and...shit there was water in it...
they shed it off....tried to dry it and then kunjal bro took it down the hill to start it by a jerk...
but he was like gone and we meet him after some nice distance..
          enroute

          2.

          3. "X" in and with the hills

and we started again. it was planned not to stop and ride long....but it was looooooong....we came across one of the bestest roads in our country infact better than our national highways..
all were speeding up and up through twist and turns and curves....it was an experience of a lifetime
          bestofrivals

...and stooped for some more clicks...
          enroute
          "X"

          2.

infact some of us did the..ROCK CLIMBING on bikes.
          on the rocks

          and some did..
          on the roads
          indian07_blood and lovish09

          kunjal bro

          then finally a board says..
          welcome to punjab..
we took a water break after completing aroung 150+ kms but still many more to go...while crossing some village in punjab and we were on a railway crossing and i was standing with saif bro a biker while crossing us said" ROADIES.....with his thumps up...we both waved him "
and then started our journey again...the big machines were sometimes speeding upto 125km/hr..and everyone tried hard except abhishek bro...
          "the cool man"

..he kept his bike at around 80-85 only and i whenever we stop to get direction i was shocked to see him coming just after after us..then finally i concluded no matter we speed up but at same time we speed down so much that our average and his average were almost similar...
finally after 180 kms someone said to ravi bhaiya.."bhaiya kuch khila do.."even then he was in mood to go 50 kms more..( man..he has got something he can ride from dusk to dawn)
but we were not like him it was our(mine n shaan's) first hill road trip...then we finally had a lunch break after before ropar..everyone was like man bring the lunch don't take this much time...abd after spending around an hour there we were on road again the next stop was karnal all of us were refreshed and riding happily...now.
cruising at 90-100km/hr we reached chandigarh and when saif bro was just overtaking me i saw my
petrol needle was about to tuch the "E" mark...i asked him man..i need fuel...he then asked me if i cn go another 50-55kms..as petrol there was rs.5 per litre costly and he too need to refill it but he'll do it after reaching(Haryana) ambala...i said lets see and then my eyes were on the needle it was going down....and i decreased my speed to 75-80..but after entering ambala i stopped at the very first pump i saw...and then again accelerated happily...after covering few kms..i saw other riders standing at a pump....and when they saw me they were bit relieved..."where were u???? we were waiting for u and when i told them that i had stopped for re fuelling they side fine n we moved on....slowly and steadily ambala then shahbad
          enroute karnal

and then we were finally in karnal..."jhilmil"
          at jhilmil(karnal)

          ravi bhai's zma

was the place we took a tea break and without wasting any more time off to panipat...all were waiting at the toll as they have to go from the flyover..
          at panipat toll plaza

          2.

and we(saif bro n me) had to go down...
finally we were in our home town safely n happily...
then after some photos and goodbyes...and thanking each other for the bestest ride.
we both rode to our homes...before which saif bro said.."lovish we have reached till here safely so lets move on slowly and ride together..within munutes we reached saif bro's home and after seeing him off i reached my home in a minute where after some clicks
          my bike says(after reaching home)

          at home

and with a satisfaction that yes i have done it now...woow.i climd up the stairs...
          that's all from my side....
firstly i thank all my fellow riders for that wonderful ride...thanks a lot guys for your help and making this one a memorable one..
love to ride with u next time and everytime..

(please pardon me for the mistakes...and comments welcome)
          regards,

@ Aryan- Thanks for the kind words...yes your Mc Leodganj trip was what we were discussing at that particular Dhaba meet where we finalized the plan...so partly thank you for the inspiration..

@Rohitmundra, RX,-- your presence was sorely missed...

@ Shivanshu-- nayi R15 ki mubarakaan ...it wud have been fun to ride with you...maybe next time

@abhishek - Impeccable writeup...nicely penned and good text , very well summarised.
It was great riding with you...Your kool attitude is praiseworthy..steadfast is the word.
1 clarification though..initially there were 2 plans.. me kunjal n ravi bhai were supposed to leave at 5 am on Friday and then catch up with you, but we changed the plans too late and hence the confusion.

@ Kurtrules - Thanks for the appreciation , always found your style of tackling the hills and the travelogues very nice...and moreover you are always too humble for the great guy you are...something newbies like us can learn from...

@BestofRivals-- Good writeup..you guys finished things in style..
@ Kunjal- hope your dharamshala is now alright...
            @ Lovish,

Great pictographic writeup...nice way of summing things up....i almost relived the entire trip while reading your blog...

@ All.. btw.. the monks who were meditating in the temple werent being distracted by the others....i had a chat with a few monks and a Expat...

it seems it is the tibetan way of debating that involves clapping when making a point... specially related to spiritual and higher zest in life funda's

Great pics... the sunrise and the Himalayas have turned out really well.. the tibetan prayer wheels look nice too...

@ indian07blood :- Nice write up....The X pic with the bikes looks great and has turned out really well hasnt it...

@Lovish - Appreciate the way you made efforts to pen down your experience. Reading it was very nice.... keep the good job going.

I'm still to overcome the magic of the place & believe me when I say McLeodganj would be done again very soon.

@Saaki - thanks for your words. It was great riding with you. I would love to take your R15 for a spin someday.

Although there is no point for writing about the trip any more... as Saaki...abishek....shaantanal...saif and loviesh you have beautifully explained about the trip and Kunjal for your efforts of capturing the visual effects prove to be the best...keep it up...

This trip has become a memorable trip for me as I was very exited for this trip and the plan was made with in three days... though I was little relectant to go as fasterthenfastest meet with a accident but again by looking at the exitement of others I was not able to stop myself...

This trip can never be the sucess with out our own Ravi Bhiya... he keeps us going and motivated us throughout the trip... thank you for being with us....

Sunngrugs... nothing to write about you as you are like me...
