So, the trip is over and the log is up. Nice pics there Soumen. Most of the places in the pics I remember them till Karaikal. Those beaches at Karaikal, I love them. The ECR is an awesome road. Drove there once. Would like to ride on those roads one day.

Actually the road you took is correct, but there is a deviation from there on I guess when I went to Pichavaram this January 3rd. The road goes inside the village. If you had stopped to just ask anyone might have known if you are on right track. It is actually 12 kms from Chidambaram. Man, you would have loved that place...Will post few sometime.

Actually I enquired and was directed to teh route that I took. but it was under construction. Prolly you didn't notice my tyres' condition..They are better off on the highways as of now

2 wonderful dayz zipped by in a whisker...Even before I could realize it was sunday which meant it was time for me to go back to the same monotonous life. How I hate the return journeys

After a gud 7 hours sleep I woke up around 8AM and headed to the famous Aurobindo ashram & Auro beach. This time around I didn't bother to carry the camera. Just checked out the calm atmosphere in auroville and the beach which was buzzing with tourists. Usually I stay away from beaches like these as I ride/travel for peace of mind. Anyday I would prefer the ones like I came across in Surathkal

Returned back to my room in an hour, had a heavy breakfast,checked out from the hotel and started rolling back by 12 noon.

This time around I had decided to take the shorter route to bangalore via thindivanam,gingee & krishnagiri. Majorly it was tamil-nadu all the way. In between while crossing GINGEE went in to check out the GINGEE fort which was SAD to say the least. A few disappointing clicks of the fort:







Roads were pretty neat all along with not very heavy traffic. But the climate was hot due to which took breaks almost every 60-70kms...

Finally hit Bangalore at 6:30PM. Was a pretty relaxed ride sans the awful climate. The bike performed really well throughout the journey(touch-wood) without any unwanted hitches. With fond recollections of the wonderful experience I hit the sack at around 8PM to catch on some much needed sleep.
