    Destination Thar : Co Riders Wanted : 2nd Week of May 2010

    Hello Friends,

    I am planning a bike trip to western parts of India, comprising of North West of Maharashtra, Gujrath and Rajasthan. Date is scheduled to be in 2nd week of May. If any body interested to join, please contact me at [email protected]

    Few perticulars regarding the trip is given below.

    Start Point: Pune
    Total Distance: 2500 km to 3000km
    Total no of days : 8 + 1 days

        well vijay tell me exact dates of leaving to get me confirm for this ride. rajasthan in may heat will be killing, but who cares? rep soon with full itinerary.

          I think the total distance will be more than 3000 Km...
          Anyway,Just a suggestion if you share your plan here directly then you might get more peoples for your ride.

              the DATES are early may, Heat will be Killing. As I rode to Mt.Abu from Mumbai in May last year, I can assure you that you'll regret why you even started the ride.

                Serious guts, Just to remind its "WEST" and not "NORTH", you will be riding under 42C heat minimum, Put on your riding gears and just sit under sun for 30 mins and you will know what we all are saying. Its damm hot, soaring sun , hot air and sun glaze makes the ride worst nightmare.

                If you plan to ride only in night time, then it might be different scenario, but if its all day journey, then its serious NO NO.

                  yupzxzz me worried abt the same thing

                  my ride is just 600 km from mum to Ahmadabad i was thing of starting the ride at 4 am so i guess heat wont be a prob.. as it is 6 to 7 hrss ride .. i guess

                      I dont think you'll rteach in 6-7 hrs unless you ride non-stop...

                      Mumbai to Ahmedabad is 558 kms. takes approx. 10-12 hrs with proper food n water breaks...

                      Still, I'll suggest postpone your ride & dates
