            Day 3

            Day 3

This is the day that I never like when I am out on rides and that is to say goodbye to such beautiful place...well we all know that everything/event/good/bad/happiness/sorrow/everything needs to come to an end and that's how I accept this day and enjoy every bit of the ride till the time I am not back to my home....

Well day 3! I got up at 6:00am hearing nice 'OM' chanting sound outside my room. When I moved out I saw Capt. Ravee was doing Pranayam facing the sun, man it actually seems like that this place is actually meant for the meditation and for people who love writting/creatives. Well we got ready and cleared the bills and sharp at 8:06am as per Capt. Ravee's watch we left the resort with that heavy heart that we will not be seeing this beauty today and after for atleast sometime.

And I think even 'rain god' was also feeling bad that we are leaving and he cried for a while and made us wet and roads dangerously wet......leaving at 8:06am we managed to reach shimla by 11:00am where we met...another bike lover Lt. Col. Sonjoy Ghosh. I got to see a different face of Shimla, as we have entered the Army zone where only arfy officials and families are allowed to move and to be more specific are allowed to take thir vehicles, and we were riding our machines in there, and it was very nicely maintained place, some parts of the area reminded me of a movie "Area (Benilue) B-13"......

well there we had nice lunch and then we went to see some art work of Lt. Col. Sonjoy Ghosh, he restores old exhautic bikes himself...his recent accuisition is BSA-1938...that he got from some remote border area of Bhutan. The bike was in pathetic condition and my first impression was "has it got fire"...but then on the other side he showed me another BSA which was restored and was shining like a brand new, and it was claimed that it was in the similar condition...and to my surprise and rather to all, he don't sell them, he actually gift them to his friends whoever ask for it....

Well after spending good around 1 hour we made a move as we had another commitment of meeting some biker friends at Dharampur, who were to come from Chandigarh to meet us. We reached Dharampur at around 2:30pm and waited at the CCD, where we saw 3 SBKs crossing us and we tried to stop them thinking that they are the once coming to meet us. Well the place where we were standing was way too crowded and on my suggestion we agreed to move to the CCD which was near Parwanoo and has got big parking and there we finally stopped and waited for others to come. Soon we were accompnied by 2 Busas, 1 GSXr 1000, 1 R6, 1 GSXr 600 and 1 R1. It was really nice meeting them all. We spent some qaulity time interacting with each other and decided to make a move at 4:00pm as it was getting late for us as well.

I took the camera from Sunny and moved ahead with Anurag sir, soon I forgot that I needed to stop for taking pics and I continued till Pinjor and stopped there and waited for others to join, as and when I saw Sunny zooming in I realized I forgot to stop for pics, but then it's never late, so we made the parking area of JP Factory as our parking lot and took some pics, from there our Chandigarh friends took a see off and shot towards their places, soon as Capt. Ravee joined us as he was lagged behind we continued our journey towards our homes.

We were now hungry and due to heat we have actually lost lot of water and left us thirsty and hungry...we decided to take a halt at Ambala at Sagar Ratna, where we had amazing lunch and decided to zoom back home and then from there we did not look back and stopped only after hitting our home. We reached home by 8:30pm, and as it was night and I was tired enough I was offered by Capt. Ravee to stay at his place and make a move in the morning with fresh mind and body. I could not say no and stayed back and came to the office and now written this trip log to make you all travel with us if not in real then atleast in words.

Hope you have ridden well and I was able to path you well during this log.

And yes not to forget, good news to all Ninja owners, Ninja did real well with those biggies and did not let them feel that they are with a baby with average 1150cc less from Busa and 1550cc less from Intruders.

@Manan: That was a nice log, albeit a few spelling mistakes here and there, but that is pretty much understandable. After a longish ride, these small 'niggling' issues do happen!

@Sunny: Some amazing photographs there. Thanks for sharing; I am sure there's more to come.
