Update on DK Bhau and MG -
They have reached back to Rampur,Heading to Leh via Srinagar route.As Manali-Leh highway is in pretty bad shape and its still snowing out there i guess.
So tomorrow they will be Doing Rampur - Pathankot.

just came back from leh to manali. ananth and I I managed this section two days ago. roads are in pretty bad shape, especially barlachala. would be advisable to do the srinagar stretch for the next 5-10 days and then attempt the manali route. definitely bikable but in pretty bad shape.Leave a comment:

I was thinking more on the lines of a 'Polarisation Filter'. Wouldn't that have a similar effect. We were frozen at Khardung La with -10 temprature.Rode and slipped in many Ice patches.Uff that was one tough-memorable expirience. :P
