      I guess yes!
      They werent using synthetic oil (Atleast Alankar wasnt, so had asked him to carry a 5Wxx synthetic oil)

        Just as you cross Kathua after Pathankot, there is a place called Chak Dayala. A right from there would also take you to Udhampur. This one is even shorter than the Samba route, though hard to spot.

            Swapnil Jadhav Alright gonna enter Jammu Kashmir now, won't able 2 give anymore updates here, no network for pre-paids in J/K state. Thanx guys 4 wishes and other help outs. The next update directly wud b us conquered LADAKH.

            P.S.: No Treads left on both th tyres, kinda nervous, bt heck am gonna do it!

              A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel.

              Always be ready (get geared) to fall and then think of sitting on the motorcycle.

                So its confirmed,Motor will be sliding from Srinagar to LEH..Instead of riding. ..I hope he is having gala time..doing some good corner on the straight roads .

                Had a chat with him an hour back..They were in Udhampur at that time.
                Chilling as usual.

                            Its still around 200+ kms for srinagar..! And no straight roads..! hope they make it & can halt may be at Banihal.. or somewhere the day ends..!

                              Since there are very few chances of Manali-Leh getting opened till 7th.So we will be heading to LEH from the Srinagar route only.
