    • SpyDs bike is muttering and his fuse keeps dying - thanks to a mech at Delhi who screwed up the wiring. They had to kill the tail lamp for it to be ok.
Rest, he isnt God, so is consulting a mechanic to clean his carb.

The R15 is going great minus a broken rvm and conked speedo due to a fall from stand still. Since they were night riding the battery seems to be low, and hence weird display on the speedo with occasional flashes.

Motor is managing his bike and the slicks are holding up good for him

      All Izz well!
Heads are hot, "things" are cool.... a lot of exciting things might happen tonight when the group meets each other

Lets see what firecrackers Satyen is talking about for tonight

          Reached Leh @ 3:30 PM
Tried to contact Aman but in vain. Got a decent hotel for 350 bucks. While going to search for Mechs saw Tsokar hotel n another gang'd bike parked outside. Dint bothered to enter & we just moved on. Found a good mech who said my clutch plate is ROYALLY screwed (all thanks to the shitty mech in delhi ), now bike is with him to be tuned & change of clutch plate.

Roamed around the city found a decent restaurent run by some chicks serving hot chowmin n momos.
Alankar got a 8GB pen drive, just in case of some firecrackers

          Our route:

          Delhi-Amritsar & Pathankot-Srinagar-Kargil-Lamayuru-Leh

Lamayuru Valley is just BREATHTAKINGLYBEAUTIFUL... Phew!!!
Stayed at a mountaintop hotel just beside the famous Lamayuru Monestry.
Place was awesome n fullk of hippes. All booze available (had local rum CHINAR) Food was sexy...

The road of life twists and turns and no two directions are ever the same. Yet our lessons come from the journey, not the destination.

I have yet to see something as invigorating as the landscapes and air of Ladakh! The whole image of India as a polluted and congested country is turned upside down!

                Good luck warriors!

                  • Congrats brother on getting Leh'ed, me just back from on 5th.
Whenever you guys plan to go to nubra valley please carry enuff money and essentials, the climate is changing drastically in leh. As the localites say " mumbai ka fashion aur ladakh ka mausam kabhi bhi badal sakta hai". One of the person staying in the same guest house as i was got stuck there for 8 days and had to work for the locals for food and shelter. Also please do not miss the Basgo monastery its a beautiful place and you will find no tourists to bother you there totally awesome.
Its on the way to alchi but before likir monastery. All the best for the rest of your trip.
