    ^^ thats a great & sad news as well..!!
    hope they get the required help & overcome the problems faced..!!!
    this time the weather is really worst it seems, all of them having a tough time climbing Khardung La is really bad..!! Infact Khardungla has much better roads then other 2 highest pass..
    I think the climate is the problem, if its snowing heavily, they surely gonna have really terrible time..!! Snow is the highest problem than terrains..!

      Well! Well! Well! Look who's back!!

      Currently at my home @ Delhi ..

      We covered:

      Delhi - Pathankot
      Pathankot - Jammu - Srinagar
      Srinagar - Sonmarg - Zozila - Drass
      Drass - Leh
      Leh - Chang La - Pangong Tso
      Pangong Tso - Chang La - Leh
      Leh - Khardung La - Leh
      Roamed around Leh
      Leh - Srinagar
      Srinagar - Katra
      Katra - Jammu

      The whole ride was just AWESOME..no words to describe it..!! The beauty of the place can't be justified by words..

      No issues with the bike en-route though..just a rim-bend for the front tyre but that rectified with the tube...and secondly it was real tough for the bike to climb up for most places after drass coz the altitude increased from there..!! Did Pangong and back by removing the air-filter ... after that got the carb setting(wire in main-jet) done at Leh..

      To sum it up..once in a lifetime kinda experience for me..

                  We met all the Leh rider's groups(namely: Mumbai Group, Biru, Hyd Group, New Mumbai group--Raman's group) at Leh..!! All had a different story to tell ..

                  Why = Bcoz of the weather conditions up there..!!

                  Kasihf's Saddle Bag = One buckle is out and some part of the bag is torn which can be repaired..!!

                  Your Rain gear = Its perfectly fine .. Just need to wash it..coz it carries Leh's dhool and mitti..!!

                        nice to know that the trip went smooth

                        i guess our mumbai guys are in leh still
                        A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel.

                        Always be ready (get geared) to fall and then think of sitting on the motorcycle.

                            I got a message from a birdie, that they have a lot of share... they had to sleep in BRO tents, ran out of fuel, roads closed, people lost n found, punctures, many many many things to share.

                            Nav was (smartly) back when you guys reached Leh. Not to mention he is going there AGAIN in august! Damn!

                            Punctures - I guess is motor with his racing slicks.
