Everybody got so much experience during the long and tiresome ride. we kerala ppl had got some minor accidents during the travel.. but god grace it was overcame. Before reaching 20km away from Yercaud my P220dtsfi was shut down due to coil damage..so my baby couldn't able to attend the event . Finally the trouble was cleared next day by a local mechanic and my baby was back to life.
Special thanks to Praful for timely advice thru phone and also Josh, and his friend from Tirupur (Black R15..I don't remember his name). Josh, I never forget that trilling ride experience thru the Hair pin during that foggy night ride with your friend's R15. It was amazing experince in such a twisty roads and enjoyed a lot .We reached home safely today 7.30 am.Amazing experince thru Valppara_Pollachi Forest road and enjoyed. Anyway hope to see more g2gs in near future.

hey bro hope your bike is doin fine now.. and no need to thank and stuff.. we just did what bikers would do for fellow bikers and it was a pleasure riding with the kerala team.. the entire team except 2-3 guys was very co-operative and we were very comfortable riding with you guys. will plan for more G2G soon.

                Keep riding

                • Where are those pics where we were messing around with John at the resort?

As someone rightly said, the KL team has only snow roads left to experience!!!

Kochi - Chalakudy - Kerala highways
Chalakudy - Tamil nadu border - Mountains and pathetic roads!
To Pollachi - Tamil Nadu mountain roads, single lane and too good
In Pollachi - Dirt biking roads - for the first time we rode under a transformer!!!
Pollachi - Salem - 6 lanes!! Was nice for the guys to rev up their machines!! But was boring too!!

                  Thiruppur - City Roads
Salem - yercaud - climbs and mountains again. Night on mountains! and fogs too!

                  On the way back -

                  Rain roads in Kerala
Kochi - trivandrum - Sleepy rides with 3-5 kms breaks to kick out the sleep!!

We had like 4 small falls - I hit the brake on a curve with sands and slipped and others too had really small falls which involved scratches and the like on the bike and all of us were safe.

Everyone will remember when Lijo spotted a cow on the road and signalled everyone and hit right on it!!! Were laughing our heads off at the next break.

Special thanks to Lijo, Jaymohan, Tintu, Srijth and Praveen for sweeping me up! I was the only slow rider in the group and they had to rev down to accommodate me!! Thanks guys!!

When the Trivandrum group reached back home, we had done about 1300 Kms in 51 hours in all and most of us broke our distance records in a stretch on the way back.

Looking forward to see the pics by the KL team!!

Man! You rocked the highways! On my way back from salem, I had a very short chance of riding you as lead.. Just before the rain started, the cross winds ruined my confidence in keeping high speeds and lost sight of you! I have no idea how you rode like that with such strong cross winds!! ^^

                              • Tri State G2G 2010 : Yercaud Trip Report

                                PROLOGUE:

November 2009, yes it was precisely eight months ago, when my bike last did a 200 + kms on the roads. Lot of things had changed in my life since then. My friends, my work place and my city all changed to confirm the fact that change is constant in life! I missed the empty roads, pollution free air and country side sightings of Bhubaneswar so much. The laid back me had been transformed into a “nine to five” professional negotiating the traffic snarls and monoxide full air of India’s very own Silicon Valley.
The post for a group biking ride in xbhp caught my eyes and I found this as a perfect opportunity to get the rider in me back into sync. With lots of excitement, I registered for the ride and waited for the D-day with enormous patience. Took the bike to a famous service center to get it back to shape, but poor me! I was amazed to see how a leading service station of Bajaj in such a big city like Bangalore can go scot free after doing such a sloppy work. They didn’t even touch my bike it seemed! I took it back there again and this time also nothing changed. I gave in after multiple tries and decided to take it for the ride as is!
19th of June, 2010 was the day, when my re-baptism as a biker was planned. Got up early, took a nice shower after a sleepless night full of excitement and got ready to join the first mammoth group ride of my life. One hell of a group ride this was supposed to be with 80+ bikers planned to arrive! After putting on my armor (newly bought riding jackets) and packing small necessities for the two day ride, I turned on the ignition and pat came her reply…she was ready to take me to my first ride of the year!
