Nice, very nice. I've been to Chopta a couple of times, a long time back. Looking at the photos and reading about it brings back memories! I am waiting for the photographs and the accompanying text to flow, now.

Also, lovely seeing you and Petro getting into touring in such a heavy way. I still remember the "Newbie Induction" ride clearly.

So finally after a long time i got the curves for my IRON HORSE.
Chopta a place we were hearing from a long back n we finally went to that place. According to me Chopta is a place where you can set urself free from the world no network nothing just go there if u wana rest in peace(in alive condition). It was really very hot in Delhi these days & Chopta a place where you can relax with ur friends in a cool weather. Roads not so easy for everyone, sometimes we get proper roads where we can lean easily & sometimes we get so afraid even in turning our bikes coz of gravel. 1 big thing Uday Shally & me were going on our way & Zayn was back at a stop for few work, we saw a huge cloud of dust shally n me thought is it some WRC going on around but just in few seconds what we saw was a land slide of big stones we were just few meters away we stopped n stopped other car drivers.
              Finally the conclusion
              Roads were disturbing
Place go there if wana take rest temperature is also very nice we had a rain in night while we were sleeping wana go there again but just now if i will go for tour i will go any other place
Sorry for the pics coz i'm a person who just like n love to ride i dont even make logs n take pics all these things are done by my best pals in the house, ZAYN Bro we will do some more tours to hills for sure

Some words from my side !!

This was the trip I was eagerly waiting for and at this trip I was going to have an re-test to ride more than 12 hrs in an day . I had done this kind of trip but not in this part of India. Here the heat is on and the traffic is more challenging . So, this is just the beginning of the wild trips which are going to come very soon in future, thanks to my new job which can finance my this unfulfilled desire. Rest other sesires can be fulfilled in later part of the life, I hope u understand what would be those !!!
The plan:-The plan was all made by Zayn, and I almost kept myself open for the directions. Just 3 months before the final day i.e 18th June ,2010 , my expectations from my boss was that he will approve my holiday to avail me with 3 days of an weekend 18th,19th,20th. So, accordingly Zayn planned the whole trip and made all the routes to take. I more or less had very less interest of the route as I was open for more kms that I could ride as possible. So, the destination was somewhere in Chopta Valley in Himalayan territory , if my geography is correct. But just an week away from the day of final journey A disaster struck, my leave of 18th June Friday was cancelled by my manager as somebody in the team had some emergencies. Taking advantage of an new joinee, what to do ???.
So accordingly I updated Zayn & fellow biker Gulshan aka Petro. And thanks to them I was comforted not cursed. Now the plan was to start on Saturday morning and reach Delhi back home on Monday early morning and thankfully I be reaching office. So, we all had the same mission, same bike, same passion i.e to ride. For me the plan was cut short and re-sized to 2 days which was going to turned up to be 28 hrs of Butt wrenching ride .The passion of riding was keeping us together and the final day was set to be 19th June Saturday. And I must thank Zayn that he made us ride well in the whole trip without any bad things.

The Fuel of the trip !!

                      Somewhere near Meerut Highway

the 3 Iron mixxes!!! of the syrup

This is a good boy !!! done all his Homework !!! evry kms is written

Bikes left the room by 2.24am and off we go towards the darkness and almost dying to end up in the hills.Zayn had planned an round-trip which I came to know in Rishikesh itself and we were meeting Shally the Blue R15 rider by that time it was close to 8am. I m sorry as I hav almost forgot the time, Short term memory loss !!! Ride up in the hills was amazing were it was most of the traffic of Badrinath disturbing us. Nonetheless our Pulsars were roaring like anything and the bikes were going almost close to 50kmph at 4000rpm at 3rd gear. The torque of the bikes were helping us in any form of hills coming up to us . The road direction was all planned was planned by Zayn. We almost took some directions which were making us a bit far away from the destination. On my way up to the hills I found that some people especially some sardar who were riding like anything while going towards their holy pilgrimage on the way to badrinath. We stopped in Rishikesh waiting Shally to join us with his R15.
After that we had some frsh made brkfast !!!

And this will keep you awake on Hills !!! Aryan Da this is for you !!

SO had some of the fresh water frm the river and an good brkfast and yes those chillies are green hot , like anything. All the time I was thinking abt Aryan Da and how happy he was telling me mirchi ,mirchi!!!

There on the heat was still on and the sun was quite hot. Just before reaching Srinagar an huge truck was unable to take the hairpin turn and was topsy turvy.....But thanks to Delhi riding techniques, where we can squeeze like an city cat and found just enough gap to sneek past huge traffic snarl...this day we were thanking to be an Biker rather than travelling in an iron cage ie. car. So, sad for those watching us revving past them . Our convoy of Bikers almost took most of them by surprise and thanks to our best riding gear that includes an Jacket under hot sun, we were looking from out of country !!!

more write-up of the remaining day coming very soon.
                      SOme more pics

An quick pit stop for further ride up hill, at this time we were doing almost close to 70kmph uphill and sometime just crawling at 40kmph

yo man!!! whts up whats up!!

The terrain was both inviting on one side and spitting on the other. At sometime I was feeling that we are doing the Alps roads of Europe and the next very turn gave us an gift of OFF-Road..

Live landslide caught on camera !!

bring this and keep all the cars out of the road

                      Still going strong,u r No.1-- Bryan Adams

more pics coming soon !!! enjoy this until now
