                Trip Experience

It was in the month of May when we have gone to Hatu peak and there itself we decided to make a trip to Binsar. This is one of those trips which was somehow made in a bundle of yes & No's...

Earlier it was all set for 11th - 13th June for Binsar, but then because of unavailability of rooms we decided to go to Mukteshwar. We booked rooms there and made the advance payment as well. But then I think it was not in our destiny to ride on those days, as during my discussion with Sunny it was confirmed that he would not be able to get his Ninja painted by then. So we decided to postpone this trip to 18th June. Every one agreed to this and we started planning for that. All of a sudden it was reported that 1 of our riders has to take his name out from the ride because of some business reasons, and Capt. Ravee also had a seminar to attend. So here again we posponed the ride 1 day ahead to 19th June and this time it was for sure.

I checked with KMVN for the availability of rooms and with the help of office executive of Capt. Ravee, we did the bookings. Till now we had Superlife also as confirmed riders with us for the ride, but due to some reasons he had to cancel the ride.

Well with all confirmations and cancellations, we finally had the confirmed riders with us. And it was decided that we all will meet at what time and where.

On the morning of 19th June at 6:00am we all gathered at Dasna Toll (Ghaziabad) and departed from there. Till hapur it was a great ride but it was like all adventure was waiting for us on the route. As soon as we hit Hapur we encountered huge traffic jam, all the way from Hapur till Garh Ganga. By the time we reached and won the battle with Traffic jam we all were covered in the layers of Dust on us and our bikes. We all gathered at Gajraula to rest some as it was quite tiring batteling the traffic there, and by then we all were bit hungry as well so we had breakfast there. Breakfast and that break was quite refreshing for us and rejuvinated us to ride our horses back to our destination.

Leaving Gajraula we headed towards Nainital...en-route we stopped at the Moradabad toll waiting for all to gather and then started again, there we decided that we will now stop as Nainitall for Lunch. As soon as we reached Nainital, we again got hit by the Traffic and it actually felt as if the whole world has gathered in Nainital, so much of Mechanical and Human traffic all around that it felt heavy to breath even. We stopped there at a hotel called Embassy where we had lunch and got clicked by 'n' number of people around.

There we realized that we are getting late as it was already 2:45pm when we started again from Nainital and we had to reach Binsar before 6:00pm. So started pulling our machines. I was somehow went ahead and leading all, I stopped a bit ahead and soon got joined by SunilG and we waited for the others but no signs of them, so I called up Midnight to check the status and got to know that they have stopped to rest a bit.

So we decided to move ahead, I again took some lead from Sunil and was riding ahead where I suddenly spotted a bike half hanging of the Cliff. I stopped to check if smebody is there, but due to straight down cliff I could not see anybody down there. Looking at me some more people stopped and soon Sunil and joined us. Me and Sunil pull the bike out of the pit and found that somebody has hit the bike from front and may be that was the reason the accident could have occured. We kept the bike on one side and tried to look for the man down there, but could not find any. So we decided to move ahead and inform police about the accident. SunilG did go to some police station and surprisingly he got the similar reply as we use to here in movies "That is not our territory, that comes under some other police station"...well instructing and requesting them to inform the concerned police station, we moved ahead from there.

We all reached dot on time to Binsar and enjouyed the unforgettable beauty of the deep forest all around.

Next day we woke up 5:00am to see the sunrise and the beautiful snow capped peaks, but we were not so fortunate as due to haze and clouds all over we could see nothing. So we decided to go into the deep forest and do some nice track. We all took our bikes into the forest, but due to bad riding conditions of the roads it was difficult to ride Intruder in there. So we all left our bikes in the middle of the Jungle and moved ahead towards the Zero Point.

Reaching at Zero Point me, Capt, Sunil, Arjun and Abhinav (2 kids with us) decided to move ahead for some indepth track of the forest and we started with marking the degree on the compas so that we don't ge lost in the jungle. Tracking deep we got some real peace of mind and did also see some pug marks of which took pics as well. Then resting for a while we tracked back to the resort.

It was quite tiring that as soon as we reached hotel we had lunch and went to bed to rest for a while. By the time we woke up we found that it rained heavy there. The weather has become so amazing that it was feeling that we stay here forever. But that was not possible our jobs and businesses were calling us back to Delhi. So we decieded that we will leave early morning next day.

We all got up at 5:00am and got ready to leave. We all left by 6:15am from the hotel and taking all the beautiful memories captures in our cameras and mind. The morning was so freshening that we rode all the way till Bhowali in just 2 hours and took our first break there to have breakfast. From there passing through all those clouds and beautiful roads of uttaranchal, we reached Moradabad toll and waited for others to gather.

In the meanwhile we saw lots of trucks standing still as a result of jam on our other side, and that side was the side that we had to go. We decided to break for a while and have our lunch there. We had lunch in a hotel called Apni Havelli. There a driver of a Taxi told us that there is a huge traffic jam because of Ganga Dusshehra, and there is a huge crowd gathered at Garh Ganga. We all looked at each other and then the temprature which was continiously raising and making us feel as if we are in a furnese. We decided to run from there as soon as possible.

Soon we hit the road and found that for the first time in history U.P. Police has managed the traffic so well that it felt like a curfew on the roads with such a less traffic, we were so happy to find those roads and kept thinking that now we ar gonna get the traffic, but in no time by 4:30pm I was back at my home.

Well that was the riding experience that we had this time and hope that god provide us 'n' number of such opportunities to ride together in future as well, to such beautiful locations.
