    Thanks Lijo for introducing this marvelous thread in facebook

    If u arrange all the photos ur last ride in an ascending order,u can recollect all the thinks, maybe??

    But we cant express it in our triplogs, because we dont have good writing skills like alankar thats the reason!!

    @alankar

    ""While we await their return, I strike up a conversation with an elderly gentlemen who looks upon us curiously. He introduces himself as a retired fighter jet pilot. He claims he is currently here on vacation and expresses his desire to ride like we do some day. He remarks that those who know him consider him to be too old to achieve such a feat. Despite their rants, he says, he intends to ride the peaks of Leh in the following year. He chooses the Pulsar 220 as his weapon of choice for he says it has superior handling. On being informed that I own an R-15, he quickly adds that he would have preferred it to the Pulsar, but his aging spine is not amenable to a cowling position. The conversation now turns to us.""

    he he ,I think that guy compared the handling of p220 to his fighter jet

    the weighted handle of p220 is better than zmr &r15s

    one more thing, i personly dont like that ****ed image of motorbreeth, only one pic in the whole thread,,,all other are superb hats off

      Which image are you referring to? And thanks for the compliments. And btw, you're right - images, notes (though scanty), etc do help jog the memory. Having said that, I think because we had so many high adrenalin incidents where tempers were flying every which way, it was simpler to remember things because everything was so "loud"

      Edit: OK, I looked through the images and found one that I think could be considered offensive. Have taken that down. Hope I got the right one. I don't think Motorbreath was trying to offend anyone. He was just being silly.

              No no, not taking anything seriously. As for not being too fast, I'm not really skipping anything but yeah I'm not spending time on detailed edits right now. I will probably re-edit the whole thing and republish the refined text either as an e-book or a published book (if there are takers) at some point in the future. For now I just want to get the story/details out before I forget specifics. I probably already have forgotten quite a few things but for the most part I think I've remained true to the experience.

                Dont depress us by saying that! I wont comment on your writing skills or the pixels. They are the things not to be commented on.. Its the pleasure of watching them, enjoying them and living them.
                Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, "Wow! What a Ride!"

                  You've got one confirmed already

                  But on a serious note, do not let this beautiful chilfhood dreams of yours end here itself on a thread or a blog..
                  Do something big with it (I'm talking in terms of actual hand book or coffee table book) because your story in your own words combined with those amazing pictures have definite potential to be legen-dary..

                  Cheers

                    Ha ha ha by "if there are any takers" I meant publishers. :P

                            Thanks Govind. For Asthma, just go to your physician maan. He/She will give you the needed advise and meds. Personally, on the advice of my physician, I went through a blood test just to ensure that I didn't have any pre-existing infections. And he also gave me meds to prevent chest congestion since thin air + chest congestion + asthma = recipe for pain. Other than that, I didn't have to do much and could easily keep up with the rest.

                            As for the Unicorn, Drifter had a problem only with a bolt that had come loose leading to his faring shaking a bit but he fixed that with a wire. Other than that his bike had no trouble whatsoever and infact did better than some of the bigger bikes.
