I cringed at Motorbreath's breakdown at the hand's of Spiderweb at the onset of our trip, for I do not believe he slowed us down. He rode as fast as his steed would carry him. I cringed when Spiderweb abandoned the family three and me at Shayok. I cringed when he would not wait for them at Aghyam. Time and again I have given in to his desire to ride ahead, to get to the destination, with or without us. To be fair, there have indeed been times where he's waited on me. But for the most part, he has dispensed with his responsibility to lead in his desire to mark our destinations with treads he owns. And today, while it was clearly he who rode ahead, clearly he who failed to recognize that we ride with him no more, he accuses us? How dare he. I will not back down. I will not stand for this no more. And so, I re-engage him into the argument.
Mere Image ka toh WAAT laga diya bhai!!!

Once again, I dont stop for people who are not my responsibility. Neither it is that I dint see them as friends, its like that ke I choose to ride with you guys coz our riding speeds, machines & mentalities match (Atleast 70-80%). If you remember I was always against riding in a big group to such kinda place where death is a matter of seconds. One wrong decision, one wrong turn, one wrong moment & everythings gone, FORVEVER.
I was responsible for you two & hence the decision of making it to the Destinations on time (before NIGHT was the main motive). the Family 3 choose to ride on slower less powerful machines without thinking what's ahead, without knowing whats coming to them. 6 people freezing to death is anyday worst than 3 making it out alive.
I never like to leave anyone behind, NO am not that kind of a person (Spiderweb stops for no one - FALSE) Spiderweb tries hard enough to NOT GET STUCK IN SITUATIONS & DIE, when he knows what are the possibilities only coz he had many times witnessed those moments & got stuck in the likes, luckily he got out alive.

My decisions are only based on my experiences & knowledge. I just cant put you two in danger only coz you wanted to be with them & express your KIND & HUMBLE nature and die freezing. Imagine we all 6 riding together & taking a decision to ride no more after seeing the Road-Roller, how many cud'v made it out alive coz it had space for no more than 3...
or you could still thank yourselves that you made a choice of going ahead & dint need to spent the night in a CAVE or that Road-Roller or around, coz 6 ppl with 6 bikes, 2 punctured, we would'v never made to even near the ROAD-ROLLER.

Being a Leader is no special job, instead its the worst job on planet, coz you have to make sacrifices & take decisions for the group & not for the individuals or minors.

A lesson from the Bible (in my words) - Noah had a choice to save everyone just by passing on the message of Doomsday coming in, he choose not to waste time & built an Arc. He just did what was needed, he saved One couple of all the species he cud found & his friends, And the World is still there. imagine him trying to save everyone, the World must not had existed anymore after.

P.S: We had our own share of problems, they had their own & each had to cope with them coz its their choice.

Jo bho bolo DK bhau, but when you are roaming in a NO man's Land, the choices are difficult to make. One bad choice n am no one to tell you that "what are the possibilities..."

Every one has choices, you prefered to march ahead, they prefered to stay with the smaller capacity ones... these are choices. You made yours and moved on, they made thiers and stayed! Doesnt make any of them wrong man! No one thought ke tere reputation ka band baja, we understand!

Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

                            a) Your image is not so fragile that people will read one para from my blog and think less of you. Khud ko thoda credit doh.
                            b) There's plenty of sections of the blog where I have praised your riding skills and presence of mind (all true) in some very f*ucked up situations and people will (and have) read that too.
                            c) This is a story from the past. We've all done a lot of growing up since then (I hope).
                            d) This is a story from my perspective. Consequently no matter how hard I try - some amount of personal bias is bound to creep in. This is not because I'm trying to make myself look "good" but because I know exactly what was in my head at the time, I know exactly why I took certain decisions and I know exactly how I reacted to certain events and consequently I can document them. With you, I can only guess as to what your motivations were and I can only document my guesses and yes, these could be wrong, but they are still MY guesses AT THAT TIME.

So yeah, stop taking this blog so seriously. It's just my memory of events. Not a character certificate (who am I to give character certificates anyway). The blog has no "agenda". Infact by the time I'm done with the story, even I'll land up looking like a d*ick (leaving Raman behind, leaving Motor behind) so its not even a "Oh look at me I'm so cool" blog. It's just memories.

I don't know to be honest. Things are not looking good on the work front in that I'm behind schedule on several things so trying to get that under control following which I will spend some time writing. But I want to try and finish it before our trips one year anniversary. Hopefully that will happen. Last time I thrashed out many chapters thinking OK, I'm gonna finish this once and for all. But after almost a week on this, I realized there's still SO MUCH MORE to write and I was nowhere close to completion. Let's see how it goes in the weeks to come!

It is very difficult to remain honest in a narrative & more so to yourself.
